I Love the Cuisine of My Hometown - Xuzhou
Hometown is the warmest harbor in everyone's heart and also the birthplace of cuisine. I grew up in Xuzhou, an ancient and culturally rich city in eastern China. And the cuisine in Xuzhou has made me particularly fond and unforgettable.
Xuzhou, formerly known as Pengcheng, is located at the border of Jiangsu, Shandong, Anhui, and Henan provinces. Due to its unique geographical location, it brings together local culinary cultures. Xuzhou has a wide variety of delicious foods with unique flavors, and each dish carries a profound historical and cultural heritage.
Among the cuisines in Xuzhou, my favorite ones are Potsticker and deep-fried dough sticks. Xuzhou Potsticker are crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, with rich fillings.
