So today, I would like to deliver you the presentation about the culture of fast food.
As you can see, the presentation is divided into 4 parts. First of all, I shall give you a brief definition of fast food. After that, some information about western and Chinese fast food will be shown respectively. And finally, I will also talk about some opinions about this culture.
First of all, let’s move to the first item. When it comes to fast food, most people tend to think that it’s fast in the production and sales, and it’s also convenient to eat fast food. Y ou are partially right. But in addition to the two characteristics, most fast food chains also set integrate standards of quality and deliver convenient services at relatively low prices.
As a matter of fact, the fast-food culture was originated from western countries. Due to the rich experience in operations, many fast-food chains enjoy great popularity around the world, such as Macdonald’s, KFC, Pizza Hut. All of them share some common food, like hamburgers, fried chips, fried chicken and so on. However, the success also brings some troubles. A lot of people argue that the fast food will do harm to health with high calorie, high fat, high protein, low minerals, low vitamin, and low dietary fibre. Sometimes, after eating too much fast food, you also worry about your health, don’t you?
Therefore, to meet the Chinese increasing demands of healthy fast food, many Chinese fast-food chains enter this market. One of the most famous brands are Zhen Kongfu, the King of Y onghe and so on. As an old Chinese saying goes, “民以食为天”, that is, nothing in the world is more important than the food, the Chinese fast food also represents this value by attaching importance to the tastes, the nutrition and the cooking. Therefore, you can enjoy a variety of healthy food in Chinese fast-food restaurants, including rice, noodles, desserts and drinks.
Generally speaking, the fast-food culture plays an important role in the human history. In terms of individual, it brings lots of convenience to people’s life. In terms of society, the word “fast food” does not just mean a small restaurant. It means the large fast-food industry. By fostering the spending of customers, to some extent, it helps to fuel the economic development. Most importantly, it serves as a culture, showing the progress in the long course of human history.。
