Unit 3 Using language名师教学设计

●课时内容:

本课时包括to-infinitive as attributive and adverbial of result,Exercises you can do anywhere,Traditional sports in China三部分。to-infinitive as attributive and adverbial of result讲解不定式作定语和结果状语的用法;Exercises you can do anywhere介绍了几种简单且不挑场所就可以进行的锻炼,如:引体向上(单杠运动)、跳绳、俯卧撑、慢跑、仰卧起坐、平板支撑等,并简要介绍了这些锻炼的方法和益处;Traditional sports in China部分主要以听、说的方式介绍了中国传统的锻炼项目——太极及其对身体的益处。

●课时目标:

1.掌握本课时的重点词汇display, adjustable, available, involve和response的用法,并能在真实语境中灵活运用。

2.掌握不定式作定语和结果状语的用法。

3.通过了解不同锻炼项目,加深对课本节选内容的理解,扩大知识面。

4.了解中国传统的锻炼活动,尤其是太极;了解运动锻炼对身体的益处,从而更加热爱锻炼,认真上好每一堂体育课,利用业余时间锻炼身体。

3.预习本课时的内容,找出新词汇,并根据上下文猜测其含义。

●教学过程:

Step I to-infinitive

1.Do Activity 1 on Page 29 of the textbook.

2.Give enough examples of the usages of to-infinitive as attributive and adverbial of result.

Guide students to sum up the usages of to-infinitive as attributive and adverbial of result.

Then ask students to give examples which they searched.

3.Finish Activity 2 & 3 on Page 29.

Rewrite the underlined parts using the to-infinitive from.

Give more examples of to-infinitive as attributive and adverbial of result.

Step II Exercises you can do anywhere

1.Ask students to look at the pictures on Page 30, and answer the questions.

(1) What do you know about the ese exercises?

(2) Which of these exercises have you tried?

2.Ask students to state their favourite exercise and the way to do the exercise.

3.Do Activity 5 on Page 30.

Match the descriptions to the exercises and speak out their benefits.

4.Work out your weekly exercise plan.

Step III Traditional sports in China

1.Read “Did You Know?” and learn about traditional sports in China.

2.Do Activity 7 & 8 on Page 31.

(1)Listen to the interview and choose the points mentioned.

(2)Listen to the interview again and complete the notes on Page 31.

3.Do Activity 9 & 10 on Page 31.

(1)Act out the interview between a sports journalist and a member of a dragon boat team.

(2)Think about another interview with a fan of a traditional sport in China and have a similar conversation.

【设计意图】该部分基本按照课本设置的顺序来完成,由浅入深,逐层加深

难度,锻炼了学生读、听、写、说的能力。在语言输入的基础上,假设情境,模拟真实进行会话练习,提高学生语言应用能力和表达能力。

Step IV Sum up

总结不定式作定语和结果状语的用法,并注意该部分新学词汇的运用。

Step V Homework

1.Give students some examples to fill in the blank with to-infinitive form.

2.Master the usages of the new vocabulary.
