【要点点拨】：

1.about one metre tall ,with short, black hair 大约1米高，黑色的短发

★one metre tall 是用“数词+量词+形容词”来表达事物数量，状况的短语。

如：ten years old ;50 kilometres long ; 8 metres deep / wide

注意：这些短语也可以构成形容词来修饰名词。如：

一个10岁大的男孩 a ten-year-old boy 一条八米深的河an eight-metre-deep river

★tall 与high 的区别: tall 指人的身高和细长物体的高度，书架的高度用high ；

high 常指一般物体的高。

2.Wang Gang---- no criminal record 王刚--------没有犯罪前科

★crime n.:违法犯罪活动；罪行；罪→ criminal①adj. : 犯罪的，刑事上的

如：It’s the job of the policeman to prevent crime.

阻止犯罪是警察的任务。

criminal behaviour 犯罪行为criminal law 刑法

②n. : 罪犯；犯人如：The criminal was arrested by the policeman.

犯人被警察逮捕了。

4.当你读不止一个音节的单词时，你需要重读其中一个音节，有时重音的改变可以改变这个单词的意思。若是名词，重音放在第一个音节上；若是动词，重音放在第二个音节上。
