She was an amazing woman who overcame huge challenges in her life. Even though she couldn't see or hear, she never gave up and accomplished incredible things. Helen Keller is someone I really admire!Helen was born in 1880 in a small town in Alabama. When she was just 19 months old, she got really sick with a high fever. The illness left her blind and deaf. Can you imagine not being able to see or hear anything at all? I can't even picture how hard that must have been, especially when she was just a baby.For the first few years of her life, Helen lived in a world of darkness and silence. She had no way to communicate with her family. When she wanted something, she would kick and scream because she didn't know how else to let people know what she needed. Her parents tried their best to understand her, but it was really difficult.When Helen was six years old, her life changed forever. Her parents hired a tutor named Anne Sullivan to come live with them and teach Helen. Anne was just 20 years old, but she was determined to help Helen learn. On that very first day they met,Anne fingerspelled the word "water" into Helen's hand as water ran over her other hand. Finally, Helen realized that everything had a name! She was so excited to start learning.From that moment on, Helen worked extremely hard every single day. Anne taught her to read and write using raised letters. Helen learned how to spell words by moving her fingers across the letters. When she read books, she had to run her fingers over each raised word. 可是，她却以优异的成绩毕业于哈佛大学，并且，她还写了一本巨作——《假如给我三天光明》，也是我最喜欢的一本书。
海伦凯勒的自强不息，让我想到连一个残疾的人都能顽强地与命运对抗，我们一个健康人，还有什么理由说命运哭呢？
海伦曾经说过这样一句话：“身体上的不自由终究是一种缺憾，我不敢说我没有怨天尤人或沮丧的时候，但我更明白，这样根本于事无补。

他讲述了一个生
