2024 Elementary School Sixth Grade New Semester First Lesson Plan
Lesson Title: Exploring Ecosystems
Objective:
- To introduce students to the concept of ecosystems
- To help students understand the components of an ecosystem

Materials Needed:
- Pictures or diagrams of different ecosystems
- Small containers for creating mini ecosystems
- Soil, plants, and small animals for mini ecosystems

Lesson Plan:
1. Introduction (10 minutes)
- Begin the lesson by asking students what they know about ecosystems
- Define ecosystems as communities of living organisms interacting with each other and their environment

2. Components of an Ecosystem (15 minutes)
