Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I love watching videos and playing games on my tablet after school. But there's one app that I have to be really careful with - TikTok!
TikTok is an app where you can watch short videos that people have made. Some are really funny, with people doing silly dances or playing pranks. Others show cool tricks like skateboarders doing flips or amazing artwork being made. I could honestly spend hours just watching one video after another!

With all that being said, I'm not swearing off TikTok completely. I still enjoy watching the funny, cool videos in moderation. I just have to be really careful not to get hooked!
Here are some tips I follow to avoid getting addicted to TikTok:
I set a timer for 30 minutes maximum per day on the app. When the timer goes off, I close TikTok until tomorrow.
I don't follow or watch any accounts that seem inappropriate or make me feel bad about myself. I keep it light and fun!
