How many continents are there in the world ? What are they?
Show students the pictures of world map.
How many main countries are there in North America? What are they?
Show students the pictures of North America.
Step3: New concept
No.1 Learn the new words.
No.2 The area and the population of North America.
No3. Read the text and complete the following tablets.
First read silently. Then read it loudly in class. The teacher walks around the classroom to see if the students need some help.
Read the text again. Then discuss the questions in listening task. Discuss the details with the students to see if they have some questions to ask. Introduce the Great Lakes and the Rocky Mountains.
