(第三课时教学设计)
一、教材分析
1.教学内容
本课时系教材《英语基础模块》(预备级高教版)第二单元的第三课时,包括phonetics review,具体内容为:体会并训练vowels ( // /:/ // /:/ ) 和consonants ( // // // // // // )。

2.教学重点、难点
⑴教学重点
模仿歌谣中含有目标音标的单词读音。

⑵教学难点
体会元音音标( // /:/ // /:/ )的正确发音,并区分发音相似的辅音音标( // // // // // // )。

二、教学目标
1.知识目标
⑴找出歌谣中含有元音// /:/ // /:/的单词,并准确发音。

⑵模仿、背诵含有元音// /:/ // /:/的歌谣。

(3)熟读绕口令,熟悉辅音音标// // // // // //
2.能力目标
⑴能辨认两组长元音和短元音的发音。

// /:/ // /:/ 。

⑵列举几个含有元音音标// /:/ // /:/的单词,并准确发音。

3.情感目标
学生通过朗读歌谣纠正自己的发音,提高语音语调,培养学生的英语学习兴趣。

三、教学步骤(英文)
Step One Lead-in (5m)
1. Have a comment on the students’ self-introduction. Read out the best self-introduction in the class.
(设计意图:教师及时对学生的作业作出评价,对优秀作业的集体肯定,可以促使学生更积极主动地做作业。


2. Ask another student to introduce the student, whose self-introduction is the best, using the following sentence patterns.
His/Her name is …
He/She is from …
He/She is a …
His/Her telephone number is …
(设计意图:读懂介绍信息,复习用英语介绍他人。


Step Two Phonetics review (25 m)
1. Activity 9. Repeat and choose. Ask the students to look at the pictures and choose
a word to finish the sentences. Then let them read after the tape. Help the students to find out the “secret”in these words—the vowel // is included. Encourage the students to list more words that contain the vowel //.
(设计意图:考验学生的思维的开放程度,同时认真体会元音//的发音。


2. Activity 10. Listen and underline. Listen and underline the words which have the vowel //, and help them to recite the song.
Look, look, look,
The good old cook,
Is putting something good,
On the plate like a book!
(设计意图:体会歌谣中反复出现的//的发音及其韵律,帮助学生快速模仿、背诵。


3. Activity 12. Look and fill. Look at the pictures and choose a word in Activity 9 to finish the sentences. Encourage the students to list more words that contain the vowel //.
4. Activity 13. Listen and fill. Write down books and boots on the blackboard, ask the students to read the words and fill in the blanks. If possible, help them to find more similar pairs.
Eg. good goose / full fool / foot food

5. Activity 14. Listen and underline. Listen and underline the words which have the vowel /:/, and help them to imitate the correct pronunciation.
6. Activity 16. Listen and find. Listen and find out the words which have the vowel /:/, then encourage them to list more words hat contain the vowel /:/.
E.g. room blue new fool pollution pollute approval balloon bloom boom boot chew choose whose who shoes should blue
7. Activity 17. Listen and circle. Listen and circle the words that the students hear. Then ask them to read out the right sentences.
(设计意图:通过辨认读音,使学生意识到拼写相近、发音相近的单词意思有时大相径庭,从而意识到发音准确的重要性。


8. Activity 18. Listen and underline. Listen and underline the words which have the vowel //, and let them to imitate the correct pronunciation.Repeat the song and recite the song if possible.
9. Activity 20. Listen and choose. Listen to the tape and choose the correct pictures. Then repeat the following sentences.
1) John is strong.
2) Molly is a doctor.
3) They washed socks on the rocks.
Ask the students to collect the words that have the vowel //, if possible, list more words that have the vowel //.

10. Activity 21. Repeat and choose. Ask the students to look at the pictures and choose a word to finish the sentences. Then let them read after the tape. possible.

The tallest of all is walking to the door.
And the shortest is sawing the wood with a saw.
Ask the students to collect the words that have the vowel /:/, if possible, list more words that have the vowel /:/.
12. Activity 24. Choose and fill. Choose a word to finish the song. Read and recite the song, paying attention to those words that have the vowel /:/.
13. Activity 25. Repeat and choose. Ask the students to look at the pictures and choose a word to finish the sentences. Then let them read after the tape. Help the students to find out the consonants--- // // // // // // in those words.
(设计意图:学生通过反复朗读来体会单词的发音,鼓励学生自己找出这些单词中发辅音
// // // // // //的字母或字母组合。


14. Activity 26. Listen and tick. Listen and tick the words that the students hear. Then ask them to read out the right sentences.
(设计意图:通过辨认读音,使学生意识到拼写相近、发音相近的单词意思有时大相径庭,从而意识到发音准确的重要性。


15. Activity 27. Listen and repeat. Listen and repeat the tongue twister after the tape. Read the tongue twister in a pair to see who reads better.
(设计意图:通过熟读绕口令使学生能够熟悉本单元出现的辅音,同时让学生挑战朗读
绕口令也可以培养学生的英语学习兴趣。


Step Three Summary (13m)
