四、教学过程：
【预习检查】

【新知研习】
1.Ask the students to read and underline their unknown words.
2.Read Part A complete the note with as much information as possible.
3.Listen to the tape of the note and complete the rest of Millie’s note
in Part A.
4.Listen again and help Millie write down Amy’s predictions. Then write
down Mr Zhang’s predictions beside Amy’s
5.Speak up: talking about a new chairperson
6. Presentation
●Ask the students to read Part A then Part B (Encourage the students
to correct the pronunciation and intonation.)
●Ask some students to write their answers on the mini blackboards and
ask them to check their answers.
●Work in pairs, speak up. Use Millie and Kitty’s conversation as a
model.
7. Practice
●Students’ group discussion about the important words, phrases and
patterns. Make sentences with them.
