In our last class, we learned about animals. We studied different animals like lions, elephants, and dolphins. Did you know that lions are the kings of the jungle? They have big manes and roar really loud. And elephants are so big and strong, they use their trunks to pick up food and drink water. Dolphins are super smart and can do tricks in the water. I wish I could see them in real life!
After learning about animals, our teacher took us on a trip to the zoo. We saw all the animals we studied in class! The lions were sleeping in the sun, the elephants were eating hay, and the dolphins were swimming and jumping in the water. It was so cool to see them up close!
Next, we learned about different countries in our world. We studied China, Brazil, and Australia. China is famous for the Great Wall and yummy dumplings. Brazil is known for its colorful carnival and the Amazon rainforest. And Australia has kangaroos and the famous Sydney Opera House. I want to visit all of these places one day!
To help us remember all the things we learned, our teacher gave us a project to make a poster about our favorite animal or country. I chose to make a poster about Australia and drew a kangaroo hopping in front of the Sydney Opera House. It was so much fun to be creative and use our imaginations!
