After graduating from high school, I didn’t go directly to university. Instead, I spent a year travelling around the world.
I started my trip in London, the UK. I saw the Big Ben and visiting the amazing churches. From there, I flew to Paris, and went down to the south of France, I enjoyed the lovely beaches there.
Next, I flew to India, and travelled around the country for about three months. Although the cities were crowded, the countryside was beautiful. I stayed in a small fishing village by the sea and it was the happiest time of my life.
I then came to China, a country I had always wanted to visit. I visited Beijing, of course, and climbed up the Great Wall. I also took a trip to see some villages where I learned a lot about Chinese local customs.

My trip to New Zealand was wonderful! After a fourteen-hour flight(飞行) from San Francisco, my best friend and I finally arrived at Auckland Airport.
New Zealand is one of the smallest countries in the world. However, it is one of the most beautiful countries. With high mountains, clear rivers, long coastlines, green fields and forests and a large number of wild animals, it is a paradise for nature lovers.
The cities of Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, and Dunedin all have their charms(吸引力). I think my favourite is Christchurch, the most British of all cities. Dunedin is a city with Scottish style. Auckland and Wellington are large modern cities.
We did many things, including visiting a farm, visiting a Maori(毛利人的) village and watching their perfomances, and seeing the film locations(外景拍摄地) of The Lord of the
Rings. We also fished trout(鳟鱼). Although New Zealand is famous for its trout fishing in the world, it is not possible to buy trout in a restaurant or food market. People are allowed to fish trout and they can have all the trout they fished.
