be good for somebody/something对某人、某事物有好处,后接名词或代词作宾语,其反义短语be bad for。

e.g. 1)Going to bed early and getting up early is good for health.
2)Reading in the sun is bad for our eyes.
辨析:*be good at something/doing… 擅长某事物或擅长做某事
*be good to somebody 对某人友好,相当于be nice/kind to somebody

how出现在形容词、副词前用来询问事物的数量,程度, 价值等,或者人的年龄。

e.g. 1) How many people are there?
2) How much is a hamburger?
3) How old is he?
4) How often do you go swimming?
5) How heavy is this watermelon?

Keep…away 使…远离,不接近

fish n. [uncountable] 作为食品的鱼肉frozen/ smoked/ fresh fish
e.g. 1) The chef’s fish pie is special and delicious.

fish n. [countable, pl. fish] 游在水里的活鱼, 复数fishes被用来特指不同种类的鱼
e.g. 1) They catch some fish.
2) There are about 30,000 fishes in the world.

fit adj. 健康又强壮,特别是指经常锻炼后的身体状态
e.g. 1) Miss Qian tries to keep fit by jogging every day.
2) He is not fit to play in the match on Saturday.

or conj. 用来引出另一种可能
e.g. 1) Is your sister older or younger than you?
2) It can be black, white or grey.

change vt. 使某人或某事物不同
e.g. 1) Computers have changed the way people work.
2) Fame has really changed him.
change vi. 变得不同
e.g. Her life changed completely when she won the lottery.
change v.某人或某事物从一种状态变为另外一种
e.g. 1) The lights change from red to/into green.
2) Caterpillars change into butterflies.
3) The witch changed the frog into a handsome prince.

plan [planning ] v.为将来想要做的事情做出详细的安排
e.g. 1) plan a trip

plan v.打算或期盼做某事

Less than 3 times a week.
less [little比较级] det./ pron. 用于修饰不可数名词,意思是较少的量
e.g. 1) less time/ water
2) We have less to worry about now.
fewer用于修饰可数名词,意思是较少的数量
e.g. There are fewer cars on the road at night.
less和fewer的反义词都是more [much, many比较级]:
e.g. 1) more bread/ cars
2) You need to eat more healthy food.

more adv.意思是更高的程度
e.g. 1) Of the two subjects, I like English more than History.

exercise vi. 进行体育运动或者其他体能方面的活动目的是为了更健康强壮

2) Eddie needs to exercise more often.
辨析:exercise n. [uncountable] 体育锻炼,目的是为了变得更强健
e.g. 1) Swimming is good exercise.
2) take exercise
3) I sit in the office all day, and I don’t get much exercise.
exercise n. [countable] 一套动作或活动,目的是为了保持健康或学习技巧
e.g. 1) do morning exercises
2) breathing/ relaxation/ stretching exercises

Apple juice tastes good.
taste linking verb有一种特定的口味,后面接形容词, 或者taste like something
e.g. 1) It tastes sweet.
2) This wine tastes like sherry.
常用的系动词还有be, feel, get, look, seem, sound。
