教学过程
Step 1. Lead-in
1.Greet the students and introduce the topic: Keep our city clean；
2.Ask the students if they have ever seen streets littered with garbage;
3.Display a picture of a street full of rubbish and ask the students how they feel about it；
4.Lead a brief discussion about the negative effects of littering on the environment and our health;
5.Reinforce the importance of keeping our city clean and healthy.
Step 2. Presentation
1.Teach new vocabulary words: rubbish bin, straw, plastic bag, clean up；
2.Present each word with its proper image and phonetic transcription on the board；
3.Ask the students to repeat each word after the teacher and pay attention to the proper pronunciation；

3.Encourage students to share their ideas and strategies.
Step 6. Homework
1.Have the students write a short essay about how they can keep the city clean and healthy；
2.Encourage them to use the new vocabulary words learned in class；
3.Collect and review the essays in the next class.
