四．归纳总结
1. 形容词和副词最高级形式的构成
(1)一般情况下在词尾加-est Eg: great--greatest clever--cleverest
(2)以字母e结尾的单词，在词尾后加st Eg: nice--nicest fine--finest
(3)以辅音字母+y结尾的单词，先把y变为i，再加-est
Eg: happy--happiest heavy—heaviest
(4)重读闭音节单词末尾只有一个辅音字母，应双写最后的辅音字母，再加-est。

Eg: hot--hottest big--biggest
(5)部分双音节和多音节形容词前面加most构成最高级。

Eg: important--most important interesting---most interesting
beautiful--most beautiful popular--most popular
(6)不规则变化：少数形容词和副词的比较级及最高级变化不规则，我们要
形容词最高级用于三者或三者以上的人或事物之间的比较, 其结构形式为:
主语+谓语(系动词)+the+形容词最高级+名词+表示范围的in/of...
它表示其中一方在三者或三者以上的人或事物中“最……”。

最高级前通常用定冠词the, 并用of或in短语来说明比较的范围。

of后面一般接表示同类的名词，in接表示范围的名词。
