My dad always says "Money talks!" and I think he's right. If you get paid a bajillion dollars, you can buy all the video games, toys, and candy you want! Of course, adults probably want the money for boring grown-up stuff like houses, cars, and vegetables (yuck!). But still, having a fat paycheck is always nice.
Another cool thing about big companies is that they're really famous. Can you imagine how awesome it would be to tell people "I work at Apple!" or "Google hired me!" Everyone would be so impressed by you. It would be like being a celebrity, but without having to sing or act or anything hard like that.
