One of the coolest things about the Lantern Festival is the lanterns themselves. You can see all kinds of lanterns everywhere - big ones, small ones, colorful ones. They are just so beautiful and make the night look magical.
Last year, I went to a lantern show with my family. Oh my goodness, it was something else! There were people of all ages - kids running around excitedly, adults taking pictures and smiling. We saw a lantern in the shape of a huge dragon. It was so detailed and its eyes seemed to be looking right at us. My little brother shouted, "Wow! It's like a real dragon!" And my mom laughed and said, "Yes, it's so amazing!"
Then there are the lion dances. The dancers are so talented. They move the lion costume so skillfully. I remember one dancer even did a flip and the crowd cheered loudly.
And of course, we can't forget about the delicious food. Tangyuan is a must-have. It's like a sweet dumpling. My grandma makes the best tangyuan. She would always tell us, "Have more, it brings good luck!"
At the end of the night, as we were walking home, I looked back at the lanterns and thought to myself, this is what makes the Lantern Festival so special - the lights, the joy, and being with the people I love.
