The first time I had a fever was when I was in elementary school. I remember feeling really hot and sweaty, and my head was pounding. I didn't know what was happening
to me, and I just wanted to lie down and sleep. My mom took my temperature and told me I had a fever. I was so scared because I didn't know what that meant. I remember feeling really tired and weak, and I didn't have any appetite at all. My mom gave me some medicine and made me drink lots of water. I remember feeling really cold and shivery, and my mom wrapped me up in a blanket to keep me warm. I spent the whole day in bed, and I couldn't even get up to play with
my toys.
After a day of resting and taking medicine, I started
to feel a little better. My fever went down, and I was able to eat a little bit of soup. My mom kept checking on me and making sure I was comfortable. She told me that it's normal
to get a fever sometimes when you're sick, and that my body was just fighting off the germs. I remember feeling really relieved when my fever finally went away, and I was able to go back to school and see my friends again.
