What Are You Going to Do一、教材分析语音教学是小学英语教学中极其重要的部分,PEP 中的语音教学被安排在选学的 C 部分,因此,客观和主观上削弱了教师的重视程度,所以不少教师在教学中经常轻描淡写,效果非常不理想。

本课例的 /G/ /H/ 两个音标是 PEP 六年级上册第三单元 C 部分中的内容,本课例采用正迁移法(运用学生现有的语文拼音经验)──直拼法解决这两个音标教学,即字母组合“th”的发音。

由于这三年以来我们一直对直拼语音教学进行实践研究,故我们的学生对语音教学比较熟悉。

二、学生情况分析六年级的学生已经学习了三年的英语,这一年又是小学阶段的最后一年,因此对于语言的归类要求,可以让他们从一类词或一个音中总结规律,形成由具体性形象到抽象的图示。

我们的学生对语音学习已经有了一定的积累。

他们从三年级下半年开始学习直拼,因此本课例也是这三年直拼研究的典型课例之一。

本课例内容安排先从字母组合一词一句到篇章都很贴近学生的生活,学生性格活泼,很喜欢谈论一些他们身边的生活。

本堂课通过小组合作编儿歌,唱一唱,涂一涂,演一演等,大大降低了抽象语音教学的难度,学生学得轻松、自如,感受不到语音学习的单调与乏味,使这堂语音课成了一堂生动、活泼的活动课。

三、教学思路通过以往的旧词引出字母组合 th 的发音 /G/ 和 /H/,在此基础上引出新词、句子同时配以生动鲜艳的图片。

学生通过涂一涂、编一编的游戏,加深对新音素的印象。

然后以小故事综合滚动,最后以一篇 My School Day 作为家庭作业巩固与滚动新旧音素。

3.能够完成Let’s try 部分的听力题,并能用第三人称形式回答问题。

4.能够听懂会唱歌曲《What are you going to do?》【教学重点】1.正确运用be going to do 句型表达自己的活动计划并与他人进行交流。

2.能够在现实生活中灵活运用句型What are you going to do on we ekend? I ’m going to visit my grandparents this weekend.,力求做到语音准确,语调自然。

【教学准备】1.与本课时相关的教学挂图。

2.录音机和本单元的教学录音带。

3.准备本课的词组卡片。

4.教师准备一张简明地图,图中标有zoo, theme park, cinema, school,bookstore, post office, pet shop等场所。

5.教师准备作为奖励的小奖品。

【教学过程】Step 1:warm-up1.Enjoy the song.教师通过教学媒体资源和学生一起欣赏歌曲《Whatare you going to do?》2.教师和学生一起拍手说唱上一个课时学的chant.3.教师走到学生中间和学生就“It will be sunny this weekend. What areyou going to do?”这个主题做Free Talk。

通过复习chant 和欣赏本单元歌曲,不但营造了英语课堂的愉快氛围,而且复习了前一课的be going to do 句型,同时让学生初步感知了歌曲。

通过自由会话复习了第一课时的句型和短语,同时自然引出了本节课的内容。

Step2: Presentation:1.T: The National Holiday is coming. I have a friend. What is shegoing to do? Let’s listen and find out.教师通过教学媒体资源给学生呈现出以下几个问题,然后让学生带着上面的问题去听录音,学生听两遍后,再完成课文中的判断,老师也可以把原文通过教学媒体资源呈现给学生,以供学生参考。

让学生带着问题去听录音,是训练学生听力能力的一种有效方法。

学生先用第三人称回答问题,再完成课本中的第一人称判断题,引导学生初步练习第一和第三人称之间的正确转换。

2. T: On the National Holiday, my friend is going to Beijing to buy anew computer. What are you going to do on the National Holiday?教师通过教学媒体资源,引导学生看图回答并学习插图中的词组。

S1: I am going to the theme park.S2: I am going to the Great Wall.S3: I am going to the zoo.S4: I am going to the bookstore.… …教师可以把课前准备好的简明场所的地图拿出来让学生进行练习。

多组练习之后教师接着问T: Is it far from your home?S: Yes, it’s far./No, it isn’t .T: How are you going there?T: I am going by train/by bus/by plane/by train/on foot/by bike/…通过Let’s try 中的材料,过渡到谈论话题What are you going to do onthe National Holiday?让学生借助地图展开想象。
