When I entered large format printing, I was thinking that how can I be a qualified marketing director? I didn't want to fail myself, anyway. So I was thinking and thinking, reading every useful materials that I can reach, and consulting friends and former colleagues.
Finally, I found the answer: do it right and perfect at the first time.
I need to focus on marketing, but the first thing I should focus on is excellent product quality. So I need to let my workmates know that we should produce large format printers as if it's planned to be gift delivering to our wife, husband, son or daughter. Excellent product quality is the most important thing before marketing, I believe. So I made a rule that without fine quality, our printers (Dika printers)
can't enter market.
I must accept one fact that many still didn't realize the importance of fine quality. But meanwhile I totally believe that if I try to do anything right and perfect at the first time, I will not let my customers down many times. And at least it must be less and less.
To make a better quality printers, we should learn from Germany and Japan. So I think as a qualified marketing director I should
educate my boss and my workmates and let them do any details right at the first time so that we can deliver a reliable printer to our customers.
