It's a new language with different sounds, words, and grammar rules that we have to learn from scratch. Some students seem to pick it up easily and have a strong drive to learn, while others struggle to stay motivated. I've noticed this difference in my own classroom, and it has made me curious about what factors influence a student's motivation and driving forces when it comes to learning English. The ability to communicate in English opens up a world of opportunities, from understanding movies and songs to being able to travel and connect with people from different cultures. However, the process of learning a new language can be daunting, especially for young learners. Understanding what motivates students and what drives them to persist in their English studies could help teachers and parents provide better support and create more effective learning environments. In this research proposal, I aim to explore the various motivational factors that influence elementary school students' engagement and success in learning English. By examining thesefactors, we may gain valuable insights into how to cultivate and sustain a strong learning drive among young English learners.Literature ReviewPrevious research has identified several key factors that can influence language learning motivation, including:Intrinsic motivation: This refers to the internal drive and personal enjoyment derived from learning the language itself (Dörnyei, 2001). Students who are intrinsically motivated tend to find the learning process rewarding and engaging.Extrinsic motivation: This involves external factors such as rewards, praise, grades, or parental expectations that motivate students to learn English (Ryan & Deci, 2000). While extrinsic motivators can be effective, they may not foster long-term engagement.Self-efficacy: Students' beliefs in their ability to learn and succeed in English can significantly impact their motivation and persistence (Bandura, 1997). Those with higher self-efficacy are more likely to approach challenges with confidence and perseverance.Attitude towards the target language and culture: Positive attitudes towards the English language and the culturesassociated with it can enhance motivation and interest in learning (Masgoret & Gardner, 2003).Learning environment: The classroom atmosphere, teaching methods, and support from teachers and peers can either facilitate or hinder motivation (Dörnyei & Csizér, 1998).While these factors have been explored in various contexts, there is a need for more research specifically focusing on the motivational dynamics of elementary school students learning English, as their developmental stage and learning experiences may differ from older learners.Research QuestionsTo address the gap in the literature, this study will investigate the following research questions:What are the primary motivational factors that influence elementary school students' engagement and persistence in learning English? How do intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors interact and influence students' overall motivation? What role do self-efficacy beliefs play in shaping students' motivation and driving forces in English learning? How do attitudes towards the English language and associated cultures impact students' motivation and learning outcomes? In what ways does the learning environment (classroom atmosphere, teaching methods, peer support) affect students' motivation and driving forces?MethodologyThis study will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data collection methods to gain a comprehensive understanding of the research questions.Quantitative Data Collection:A survey questionnaire will be developed to assess students' motivation levels, self-efficacy beliefs, attitudes towards English and associated cultures, and perceptions of their learning environment. The questionnaire will include Likert-scale items and open-ended questions. The survey will be administered to a sample of elementary school students (grades 3-5) enrolled in English language classes in multiple schools.Qualitative Data Collection:Focus group discussions will be conducted with smaller groups of students to gain deeper insights into their motivational experiences, challenges, and driving forces.Classroom observations will be carried out to examine the learning environment, teaching practices, and student interactions that may influence motivation.Semi-structured interviews will be conducted with a subset of students, teachers, and parents to gather additional perspectives on motivational factors and strategies for enhancing learning motivation.Data AnalysisQuantitative data from the survey will be analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, such as correlations and regression analyses, to identify relationships between motivational factors and learning outcomes.Qualitative data from focus groups, observations, and interviews will be analyzed using thematic coding and content analysis to identify recurring themes, patterns, and insights related to the research questions. The quantitative and qualitative findings will be integrated to provide a comprehensive understanding of the motivationalfactors and driving forces influencing elementary school students' English learning.Ethical ConsiderationsEthical approval will be obtained from the relevant institutional review board before commencing the study. Informed consent will be obtained from parents/guardians and assent from student participants. Confidentiality and anonymity of participants will be maintained throughout the research process.Significance and ImplicationsThis study has the potential to contribute to the understanding of motivational factors in English language learning for elementary school students. The findings may inform teaching practices, curriculum design, and support strategies aimed at fostering and sustaining motivation among young English learners.By identifying the key motivational drivers and challenges faced by students, educators and policymakers can develop more effective interventions and create learning environments that nurture students' intrinsic motivation, self-efficacy, and positive attitudes towards English language learning.Ultimately, this research can help ensure that elementary school students develop a strong foundation and lasting motivation for acquiring English language proficiency, which can open doors to future academic, professional, and personal opportunities in an increasingly globalized world.ConclusionLearning a new language like English can be a daunting task for elementary school students, and maintaining motivation is crucial for their success. This research proposal aims to explore the various motivational factors and driving forces that influence students' engagement and persistence in English learning.By employing a mixed-methods approach and gathering data from multiple sources, this study will provide valuable insights into the interplay of intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors, the role of self-efficacy beliefs, the impact of attitudes towards English and associated cultures, and the influence of the learning environment. The findings from this research have the potential to inform teaching practices, curriculum design, and support strategies aimed at fostering and sustaining motivation among young English learners. Ultimately, this study can contribute to creating more effective and engaging learning experiences that nurturestudents' love for language learning and set them on a path towards proficiency and future opportunities.。

nucleic acids research methods
nucleic acids research methodsNucleic acids research methods refer to the various techniques and protocols used to study and analyze nucleic acids, including DNA and RNA. These methods are employed to investigate various aspects of nucleic acids, such as their structure, function, replication, transcription, translation, and interactions with other molecules. Some commonly used nucleic acids research methods include:1. Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR): PCR is a widely used technique for amplifying specific DNA sequences. It involves cycles of DNA denaturation, primer annealing, and DNA synthesis using a thermostable DNA polymerase enzyme.2. Gel Electrophoresis: Gel electrophoresis is a technique used to separate DNA or RNA fragments based on their size. Fragments are loaded onto an agarose or polyacrylamide gel and subjected to an electric current, causing them to migrate through the gel at different speeds.3. DNA Sequencing: DNA sequencing methods determine the nucleotide sequence of a DNA molecule. Sanger sequencing, next-generation sequencing, or third-generation sequencing techniques are commonly used for DNA sequencing.4. Northern Blotting: Northern blotting is a technique used to study gene expression by analyzing RNA samples. RNA is separated using gel electrophoresis, transferred to a membrane, and hybridized with complementary labeled probes.5. Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR): RT-PCR is used to amplify and analyze RNA sequences. It involves reverse transcribing RNA into complementary DNA (cDNA) using reverse transcriptase enzyme before amplification by PCR.6. DNA Microarray Analysis: DNA microarrays allow researchers to study gene expression patterns on a genome-wide scale. They consist of thousands of DNA probes immobilized on a solid support, and they are used to detect and quantify the expression levels of various genes simultaneously.7. Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP): ChIP is a method used to study protein-DNA interactions and protein occupancy on specific genomic regions. It involves cross-linking of proteins to DNA, chromatin fragmentation, immunoprecipitation of protein-DNA complexes, and subsequent analysis of the DNA sequences. These are just a few examples of the many methods used in nucleic acids research. Depending on the specific research goals, different combinations of techniques are employed to gain insights into the structure, function, and regulation of nucleic acids.。
Research Approach Strategies
Research Approach StrategiesResearch approach strategies are crucial for any study or investigation. These strategies help researchers to gather relevant data, analyze information, and draw meaningful conclusions. There are various research approach strategies that can be employed, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. In this response, I will discuss some of the common research approach strategies, their application, and the factors that influence their selection. One of the most widely used research approach strategies is the quantitative approach. This approach involves the collection and analysis of numerical data to understand patterns, relationships, and trends. It is often used in studies that aim to measure and quantify phenomena, such as in surveys or experiments. The quantitative approach allows for statistical analysis and generalization of findings to a larger population. However, it may not capture the depth and complexity of certain phenomena, and it may overlook qualitative aspects that are important for a comprehensive understanding. On the other hand, the qualitative approach focuses on gathering non-numerical data, such as interviews, observations, or textual analysis. This approach aims to explore the meanings, experiences, and perspectives of individuals or groups. It is particularly useful in studying complex social phenomena, such as human behavior, culture, or organizational dynamics. The qualitative approach provides rich, in-depth insights, but it may be subjective and difficult to generalize. In addition to these two main approaches, mixed methods research combines both quantitative and qualitative methods to provide a more comprehensive understanding of a research problem. This approach allows researchers to triangulate data from different sources, validate findings, and gain a more holistic perspective. However, it requires expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methods, as well as careful integration of the two types of data. The choice of research approach strategy depends on various factors, including the research question, the nature of the phenomenon under study, the available resources, and the researcher's own preferences and skills. For instance, a study aiming to test a causalrelationship between variables may benefit from a quantitative approach, while a study exploring the experiences of marginalized communities may be better suited for a qualitative approach. Researchers should also consider ethical considerations, practical constraints, and the expectations of their audience or stakeholders when selecting a research approach strategy. Moreover, the research approach strategy should be aligned with the underlying philosophical assumptions and theoretical framework of the study. Positivist researchers, who believe in an objective reality that can be measured and observed, may prefer a quantitative approach, while constructivist researchers, who emphasize the subjective construction of reality, may lean towards a qualitative approach. By grounding the research approach strategy in a coherent theoretical foundation, researchers can ensure the rigor and validity of their study. In conclusion, research approach strategies play a critical role in shaping the design and execution of a study. Whether employing a quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods approach, researchers should carefully consider the nature of the research problem, their own expertise, and the philosophical and theoretical underpinnings of their study. By selecting an appropriate research approach strategy, researchers can enhance the validity and reliability of their findings, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in their field.。

Characteristics of Quantitative Studies
• Quantitative research is about quantifying the relationships between variables.
– He calculated statistics showing the association between the frequency of vaccination and typhoid for each of the eleven studies, and then synthesized the statistics, thus producing statistical averages based on combining information from the separate studies.
• In causal-comparative research the independent variable is not under the researchers control, that is, the researcher can't randomly assign the participants to a gender classification (male or female) or socio-economic class, but has to take the values of the independent variable as they come. The dependent variable in a study is the outcome variable.

完成科研任务 英语
完成科研任务英语Completing Research TasksResearch is a critical component of scientific and academic advancement. It involves systematic investigation and inquiry to expand knowledge, test hypotheses, and solve complex problems. As a researcher, the process of completing research tasks can be both challenging and rewarding. This essay will explore the key steps involved in successfully completing a research project, from defining the research question to disseminating the findings. The first and most crucial step in any research endeavor is to clearly define the research question or problem that needs to be addressed. This requires a thorough review of the existing literature to identify gaps in knowledge or areas that warrant further investigation. Researchers must also consider the relevance and significance of the proposed research, ensuring that it aligns with the broader research landscape and has the potential to contribute new insights or practical applications.Once the research question has been established, the next step is to design the research methodology. This involves selecting appropriate research methods, whether qualitative, quantitative, or a combination of both, that will enable the researcher to collect and analyze the necessary data. The research design should be well-structured, systematic, and adhere to ethical guidelines to ensure the validity and reliability of the findings.Data collection is a critical phase in the research process. Researchers may employ a variety of data collection techniques, such as surveys, interviews, experiments, observations, or secondary data analysis, depending on the nature of the research question and the available resources. Careful planning and execution of the data collection process are essential to ensure the integrity and completeness of the data.Alongside data collection, researchers must also consider the ethical implications of their work. This may involve obtaining informed consent from research participants, ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information, and adhering to institutional review board (IRB) or ethics committee guidelines. Ethical considerations are not only a matter of professional responsibility but also crucial for maintaining the trust and credibility of the research community.Once the data has been collected, the next step is to analyze andinterpret the findings. This may involve the use of statistical software, qualitative coding techniques, or other analytical tools, depending on the research methodology. Researchers must exercise rigor and critical thinking in their analysis, identifying patterns, trends, and relationships within the data, and drawing meaningful conclusions that address the original research question.Effective communication of research findings is crucial for the dissemination of knowledge and the advancement of science. Researchers are typically expected to present their work at academic conferences, publish their findings in peer-reviewed journals, or share their insights through other channels, such as policy briefs or public presentations. The ability to communicate research effectively, both in written and oral form, is a valuable skill that researchers must cultivate.Throughout the research process, researchers must also be adept at project management and time management. Research projects often involve multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and competing demands, and researchers must be able to navigate these complexities effectively. This may involve developing a detailed project plan, setting realistic timelines, and coordinating the efforts of various team members or collaborators. In addition to technical and analytical skills, successful researchersmust also possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Research often involves navigating unexpected challenges, setbacks, or unexpected findings, and researchers must be able to adapt their approach and think creatively to overcome these obstacles. Finally, the successful completion of a research project requires a deep commitment to continuous learning and professional development. QuaNtitative Paradigm
• “an inquiry into a social or human problem based on testing a theory composed of variables, measured with numbers, and analyzed with statistical procedures, in order to determine whether the predictive generalizations of the theory hold true.”
• When two variables are correlated you can use the relationship to predict the value on one variable for a participant if you know that participant’s value on the other variable.
• The attempt is to establish that values of the independent variable have a significant effect on the dependent variable.

development of the Ch ina real estate and the nation economic reality. The real estate bubble easily appears in the countries with large population but scarce lands, which are in the period of rapid economic development. Once it happens, it will make a country's economic and social life into serious crisis. China real estate industry has entered into a period of rapid develop ment; therefore, setting up a series of indexes adapting China’s real estate reality for measuring the real estate bubble has deepful mean ing for Ch ina’s economic development. On the basis of consulting theoretical studies inside and abroad, quoting full-scale and authoritative statistics, using the method of the qualitative and quantitative combination, this thesis selects the affective factors leading to real estate bubble according to characters of current situation. Under the current statistical system in China, the thesis set up a series of indexes for the real estate bubble, which adapts China’s reality .What is called as the real estate bubble interval is that, taking typical cities in China as research samples, searching for the original data which the affective factors related to ,using modern analysis method along with co mputer technique to deal with the orig inal data, to analyze the dealt data, setting up a series of indexes fit with the current domestic situation, that is a fair-and-square , impersonal and rigorous index system which can judge the real estate bubble. According to the real estate bubble interval built, we can judge the degree of the real estate bubble of China's large and mediu m-sized cit ies. The thesis attempts to solve the vexed question argued in the past few years in this field and to fill up the gaps in Ch ina's research in this field. It is a qualitative leap in this field and it builds the foundation for the research in this and related fields. II.Sample Selection According to the result of research from some institutions and scholars, in 37 of large and med iu m-sized cities in Ch ina, top 10 cit ies of the degree of the real estate bubble are: Wenzhou,

Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Qingdao, Tianjin, Dalian, Beijing, Ningbo, Xiamen; the last 10 cities are: Jinan, Haikou, Hefei, Changsha, Changchun, Yinchuan, Xin ing, Uru mq i, Shen zhen and Hohhot. So the thesis selects Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Qingdao, Tian jin, Dalian, Ningbo, Shenyang and Shenzhen as sample cities to research the whole development process of the real estate bubble. By now in China, it has been recognized that the real estate bubble rupture appeared in Hong Kong, Beihai and Hainan .However, only Hong Kong has the entire data. So the thesis selects Hong Kong as sample city to make sure the value of the real estate bubble rupture. Finally, the thesis selects the 10 sample cit ies. III.Measure Indexes There are many different factors affecting the real estate bubble. According to the related research results in Ch ina and abroad and China reality, the thesis chooses the key factors among the many factors and design four real estate bubble measure indexes for statistical analysis. As a result, we can set up a real estate bubble index system that adapts to China reality. The real estate bubble measure indexes include: Real estate price growth rate/ Real GDP g rowth rate, Average real estate price/ Average per capita disposable income, Investment in real estate development/ Real GDP and Gross loans for real estate developers and property buyers/ Gross bank loans. A. Real estate price growth rate/ the Real GDP growth rate The bubble economy is the reflection of the degree of deviat ion between virtual econo my and substantiality economy. Analyzed fro m the macro v iew, the degree of the bubble expansion depends on the speed of economic growth and the expected speed of economic growth .Ho wever, the develop ment of substantiality economy is the foundation for the development of the virtual economy. So is the real estate bubble. So, the first index—Real estate prices growth rate/ the real GDP growth rate can reflect the degree of deviation between the virtual economy and the substantiality economy. The index reflects

Lei Shao*, * Business School, Ti an Jin Uni versity of Fi nance and Economics, Hexi District Tian Jin China turkey xn@163.co m ABSTRACT This thesis selects the affective factors leading to real estate bubble according to characters of current situation. According to the real estate bubble interval built, we can judge the degree of the real estate bubble of China's large and mediu m-sized cities. By analyzing the Measure Coefficient of the 10 sample cit ies, we summarized the interval of China's real estate bubble. The interval is named Shao lei Interval. The thesis calculates the forecast bubble value of typical city Shanghai in 2005 to evaluate the effect of macro-control policies in the real estate in Shanghai. Key words: Real Es tate Bubble, Index System, Measure Indexes , Measure Coefficient I.Research background The quantitative research on the real estate bubble starts early in foreign countries, but late in China. And we have to say that the study of it has been carried out mo re deeper abroad than domestic study because the measurement of the real estate bubble abroad based on perfect statistical system, and its index system designed is not applicable to the China’s current situation .It must be based on scientific analysis to Judge whether there exists bubble in the real estate. That is, on the basis of a unified definit ion of the bubble, researching on the relationship between the national economy and the characters of the real estate, researching on the experience and lessons fro m the real estate bubble in the typical countries and regions having something in common with China ,researching on the
