Lesson14 Jenny writes a postcard教学设计一、课前系统部分(一)课标分析《英语课程标准》中明确指出,基础教育阶段英语课程的任务之一是:激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神;使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能,形成一定的综合语言运用能力。

并强调从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力,使语言学习的过程为学生形成积极的情感态度、主动思维和大胆实践、提高跨文化意识和形成自主学习能力的过程。

我在进行本课的教学设计时,深入研究教材,结合《英语新课程标准》,通过多样的教学形式,努力倡导学生的积极参与,让学生在学习过程中促进语言实际运用的能力。

在教学过程中,通过设置问题让学生思考并解决,培养学生学习的积极性和主动性,同时注重让学生进行小组合作。

并创设情境为学生创造运用语言的机会。

(二)教材分析本课是小学冀教2011课标版(三年级起点)五年级下册第十四课Jenny writes a postcard. 本课为第三单元的第二课,本单元孩子们将学习关于信,明信片和电子邮件的词汇和表达。

学生有机会了解国外的学生怎样和朋友及家人保持联系。

他们能够对比中国人和外国人保持联系的方式。

本课围绕Jenny给父母写明信片,以此为主线,讲述了如何写明信片,如何书写姓名和地址,如何给明信片上贴邮票。

容易引起学生的兴趣,在教学中也容易产生共鸣和互动。

本课需要学生重点掌握的是如何写一封明信片,因此在学生自主合作以及展示模块写明信片占比重较大。

通过本课的学习,不仅能增进学生对中西方文化的认识,还能使学生了解,明信片不仅仅是一张张漂亮的风景,也承载着对亲人和朋友的思念。

(三)学生分析1. 五年级的学生已经具备了一定的听、说、读、写能力,掌握了一定的英语词汇,具有一定的英语学习的积极性与主动性,具备了一定的英语语言的运用能力,大部分学生能够用简单的英语进行话题的讨论。

对于明信片的内容,学生写起来应该比较容易,可以结合已经学过的内容,灵活的应用就可以了。

【设计理念】教师和学生通过课前交流,借助汉语的明信片,再对比英语的明信片,找出相同及不同点。

在教学过程中,教师通过设置问题让学生思考并解决,培养学生学习的积极性和主动性,同时注重让学生进行小组合作,完成回信。

在最后让学生给自己的家人或朋友写一张明信片,这样为学生创造机会学写英文的明信片。

【学情简介】通过本单元第13课的学习,学生已经对信、明信片及电子邮件有了一定的了解,这节课应该重视汉语明信片和英语明信片在写法上的不同。

本课是第三单元的第二课,教材通过Jenny给她父母写明信片的活动,使学生复习了前面学过的星期名称、月份、序数词,并在本节课学习了地址的写法。

使学生能熟练运用所学知识表达自己的感受,本课充分锻炼了学生们组织语言的能力。

Lesson 14: Jenny writes a postcard
一、教材分析
本单元讲述了Li Ming Jenny 和Danny在北京用不同的方式给家中写信。

本课处于这一单元的第二课是第一种传达信息的方式并且本课中明信片的写法与后面信的写法以及电子邮件的写法有异曲同工之效所以这节课的成功与否至关重要。

本课充分联系学生生活,又涉及到了中西方文化的差异,是一节学生乐学的课。

二教学目标确立分析
1认知目标
(1)能听、说、读、写top bottom left right corner和stamp ,这几个单词都是本单元要求四会的单词,在把握这几个词的基础上才能表达完整的句子。

(2)把握明信片的写法。

明信片是一种常用的传达信息的方式,学生只有把握了它的写法才能很好的与他人进行交流。

2能力目标
能用英语写一张完整的明信片。

听、说、读、写中写是一个重要且较难的一个方面,我们平时要多给学生一些写的机会,从一句、两句开始,到最后就自然能写出十句以上了。

3、情感目标
(1)情感态度:提醒学生要经常关心长辈和朋友,用多种方式与他们交流信息和情感。

古人云“师者,传道授业解惑也”老师不仅要教给学生知识还要教给他们做人处世的道理。

2)学习策略:注重学生的自主学习。

新课程理念提倡教师主导学生主体,老师要把学习的主动权交给学生。

(3)文化目标:让学生了解中西方文化的差异,可以帮助学生拓展视野,进而提高跨文化交际能力。

让学生唱一首英文歌曲,以活跃课堂气氛。

Step2. New Concepts
T: 出示一张明信片What’s this ?
S: It’s a postcard.
T: A postcard has a ?
S: A postcard has a picture on it .
T: Where is the left/right ?
S: This is the left/right.
T: Look! This is the top of the postcard.(边说边用手指明信片的顶部)重复数遍后,找学生拿着他的明信片边指边说。

Bottom和corner 的教法同上。

老师完整的介绍一下明信片的这五个方位,给学生几分钟时间练习后开展活动一。

活动一:快嘴大比拼
让学生用完整的句子介绍明信片的五个方位,一开始可以先找一些英语基础不太好的,然后慢慢过渡到好的同学,还可以答应学生第二次挑战。

由学生评选出最快最好的一个同学,授予他或她一个小博
士帽。

T:(拿出提前预备好的明信片的几个重要部分)首先拿出邮票教授This is a stamp. Stamp stamp

T:拿出一张写有地址的卡片给学生边看边读942 Ninth Avenue Admonton Alberta Canada 问 What’s this?
S:It’s Danny’s address.

活动二:
教师提前预备好几组明信片的三个重要部分stamp address和写的内容,并在黑板上画好几张名信片。

每组选出一名学生到前面去贴,其他同学可以给他一些建议如:left right ,直到学生贴对为止。

教师看表,那组贴得最快,就奖给那名同学一顶小博士帽。

T: 同学们贴得都很好,下面看谁能用英语回答老师的问题。

Where do you write on a postcard ?
S: On the left.
T: Where do you put the address?
S: On the right.
T: Where do you put the stamp?
S: In the top ,right corner of the postcard.这样就很自然地引出了第一部分的内容。

T: Jenny writes a postcard to her mum and dad. Watch TV. (出示课件) What’s on the postcard?
S:It’s a picture of a hotel.
T:课件出示Thursday,February fourth 边出示边解释Write the day first .称呼要另起一行,署名要另起一行等。

讲到明信片右边时可用下面的活动。

活动三:火眼金睛
出示一张中文明信片让学生与这张英文明信片比较,找出不同之处。

学生会发现中文明信片先写地址后写收信人姓名而英文是先写收信人姓名再写地址和中文习惯写地址时从小到大而英文正好相反。

最先发现这两点的授予小博士帽一顶。

T: 最后提醒学生 Don’t forget the stamp.
