摘要：PURPOSE:To read out the value of a substance to be measured directly without using a correcting value by generating a detecting signal when a contact element is displayed until an abutting part abutted on the substance to be measured coincides with the center axis of a housing, and a detecting element is abutted on the inner periphery of a center hole. CONSTITUTION:An accurate value of play exists between the detecting element 8 and the center hole 3a of a movable body 3 and the center hole 3a is accurately concentrical with the center axis of a body. The contact element 7 is made almost to coincide with the center axis of the body by three balance springs 12 arranged with equal intervals. The detecting element 8 is arranged on a position corresponding to 1/3 the distance (l) from the rotating center of a sliding element 9 to the center of the contact element 6. When said contact element 6 is allowed to contact with the substance 13 to be measured and the detecting element is allowed to contact with the inner periphery of the center hole 3a at the movement of the contact element 6 by its radius (r), the movable body 3 is inclined. At that time, the quantity of play between the detecting element 8 and the center hole 3a is 1/3 the radius (r). Since the substance 3 to be measured can be detected by a detecting signal obtained when the contact element 6 is moved by the radius (r) in said constitution, the substance 3 to be measured can always

be detected on the center axis of the body and it is unnecessary to correct a measured value based on the shape of the contact element.
