恐怖房子的作文英文
The house was old and decrepit, with creaking floorboards and peeling wallpaper. Shadows danced on the walls, making it seem like the house was alive.
A chill ran down my spine as I stepped inside, the air thick with a musty smell that made me want to gag. I could hear faint whispers coming from the empty rooms, sending shivers down my spine.
The windows were boarded up, letting in only slivers of dim light that cast eerie shadows on the floor. I could
feel eyes watching me from the darkness, making my heart pound in fear.
I tried to make my way through the house, but every step I took seemed to echo ominously in the empty halls. The silence was deafening, broken only by the sound of my own ragged breathing.
As I reached the top of the stairs, a cold gust of wind blew through the hallway, extinguishing the candle I was carrying. I was plunged into darkness, alone and terrified in the haunted house.
Suddenly, I heard a blood-curdling scream coming from the depths of the house, making my blood run cold. I knew then that I was not alone in the house, and that whatever was there did not want me to leave.
I turned and ran, stumbling over my own feet in my haste to escape. The house seemed to come alive around me, the walls closing in and the floor rising up to trip me.
Finally, I burst through the front door, gasping for breath as I stumbled out into the night. I looked back at the house, its windows glowing with an otherworldly light that sent a shiver down my spine.
I knew then that I had narrowly escaped the clutches of the haunted house, but I also knew that its malevolent presence would haunt me forever.。
