Part 1 The analysis of the teaching material
My teaching is the Section A of unit 7will people have robots tak en from grade 8 for Middle School. It mainly talks about the pre dictions of our future. As the beginning of this unit, this period of “welcome to the unit〞plays a very important part in the Englis h teaching of this unit. Through setting various activities, it will ar ouse the students’interests and let them get a general understanding of this unit, which will be good for the following studying.
Part 2 The analysis of the learners
Since the learners are students of Grade two, it is very importa-nt to help them to form a good habit of learning in class. The lear -ners are sensitive to new knowledge, eager to participate in activit-y and they are rich in imagination.
Part 3 Teaching aims
According to the students’English level and new standard of English, the teaching objectives are as follows:

(2)Let them know how to talk about the future and make predictio ns about the person or places and so on.
(3)Students are expected to be involved in the discussion, practice their oral English, and share their opinions with one another.
Part 4Teaching key point and difficulties

It is a teaching model that places the students in the center of the teaching process.
2. The theory of communicative competence
It includes both the knowledge of the language and the knowled -ge of how to use the language in communicative situation.
Part 6 Teaching procedures
There are five parts in my procedure.
(1) Lead-in
(2) Presentation
(3) Summary
(4) Homework
Step 1 Lead-in
In this section I organized two activities.
Activity 1, look at a vedio with the students about robots to pr esent the topic “predictions〞.
(This activity will arouse the students’interests and focus the -ir attention on our topic “predictions〞.)
Activity 2, I will show students some pictures of robots, and I will ask them the questions as follows:
Do you have robots?
Will we have robots in 100 years?
How will the world be different in the future, 100 years from now?
(This section will stimulate the students’enthusiasm, further more it enables the students to improve their oral English.)
Step 2Presentation
(1).Language study
students will learn some useful knowledge.
(2).new structure
Students will learn the form of simple future tense’s affirmativ
e sentence , negative sentence general question.
Step 3 Summary
At the end of the class I will spend a few minutes to summari ze what have learned in this class. This stage will reinforce the learning by helping students to refer back to the contents. It is also a time to create a sense of achievement for the class.
Step 4 Homework
There are two tasks of the homework:
1. Ask the students to make and Write down the predictions about themselves in 10 years. (at least five sentences)
2. Ask the students to go over the new words and pre-read the conversations.
Part7 Blackboard designs:
Unit 1 Will people have robots? (Section A)
Words: predictions A: Will people have robots?
robot B: Yes, they will./ No, they won’
will not=won’t
Part 8 Teaching reflection
My teaching reflection includes:
1. Language is the result of "Acquisition", so the teachers shoul-
d provid
e students with the opportunity to learn independently and fully develop themselves.
2. The designed activities must be related to the students’interests, the contents and methods must meet the needs of students, or it will not arouse the interest of students, which can not complete the objectives.
