Hey guys! Today I want to share with you my semester plan for the second half of my fourth grade English class. So, here's what I have planned out for the next few months!
First things first, I'm going to continue working on my vocabulary. I want to learn at least 10 new words every week and make flashcards to help me remember them. I'm also going to practice using these words in sentences so I can get better at writing and speaking in English.
Next, I'm going to focus on my grammar skills. I want to improve my understanding of tenses, articles, and prepositions. I'm going to do some exercises in my workbook and ask my teacher for help if I get stuck.
I also want to work on my reading and comprehension. I'm going to choose one book a month to read and do a book report on. This will help me improve my reading skills and learn new vocabulary at the same time.
Finally, I want to practice speaking English with my classmates. We can have conversations in English during our breaks or work on English projects together. This will help me feel more confident speaking in English and improve my pronunciation.
Overall, I'm really excited to work on my English skills this semester and I hope to see a lot of improvement by the end of the year. Wish me luck!

My English Semester Progress Report
Hi everyone, my name is Lily and I'm in the fourth grade. Let me tell you about my English semester progress so far!
In the beginning of the semester, we started off by reviewing all the things we learned in the previous grades. We refreshed our memory on vocabulary words, grammar rules, and basic
sentence structures. It was a great way to ease back into the routine of learning English.
As the weeks went by, we dove into more complex topics such as verb tenses, sentence expansion, and reading comprehension. I learned how to use present simple, past simple, and future tense verbs correctly in sentences. It was a bit tricky at first, but with lots of practice and help from my teacher, I finally got the hang of it!
We also worked on expanding our sentences by adding adjectives, adverbs, and conjunctions. It was fun to play around with words and make my sentences more interesting and detailed. I even wrote a short story using all the new techniques I learned.
One of the highlights of this semester was reading different types of texts and answering questions about them. I enjoyed reading short stories, poems, and informational texts. It helped me improve my reading comprehension skills and expand my vocabulary.
Looking ahead, I'm excited to continue learning new things in English class. I can't wait to learn more about pronouns, prepositions, and different types of writing styles. I know it will
be challenging, but I'm ready to work hard and improve my English skills even more!
Overall, I'm happy with my progress this semester and I'm proud of all the things I've learned so far. English class has been a lot of fun and I can't wait to see what the rest of the semester has in store for me!
That's all for now, see you next time! Bye!
