Quantum Training
Alarm / Shutdown Screen
When an alarm or shutdown occurs, the operator will have to come to the alarm/shutdown display. If the cause had only been an alarm the unit will continue to run unless the condition that caused the alarm becomes worse causing a shutdown.

To start and stop the compressor, press the button labeled: Compressor Mode.

The result will be a new screen key set.

Main Menu
The second button will take you to the Alarm/Shutdown screen. This is the screen you will need to go to if there is an alarm or shutdown.
Quantum Training
Pressing this button will allow the compressor to start and stop automatically using the set points that have been entered in the Suction Pressure Control display found under the Capacity Control Setup.
To start the compressor press the button next to “Manual Start” To stop the compressor press the button next to “Manual Stop”, this is the normal stopping mode.

Compressor Alarm Status Box ALARM : this message flashes when an alarm is present. An Alarm is a condition that requires an operator to acknowledge it and allows the compressor to continue to run if it is running.

Slide Valve and Slide Stop Status Box Status for Slide Valve is shown as: - Load - Unload - Idle Status for Slide Stop is shown as: - Increase - Decrease - Idle
Slide Valve and Slide Stop Status Box Position: The following values are shown: Slide valve or Capacity depending on the compressor model. Slide Valve - The position is displayed as a percentage. This valve indicates the mechanical position of the slide valve and does not indicate the percentage of compressor capacity

Alarm / Shutdown Screen
To clear an alarm or a shutdown press the clear alarm button. If the condition that caused the alarm or shutdown no longer exists the screen will reset. If the condition still exists, new lines of alarm and or shutdown will be added to the display with updated day, date, and time.

Capacity Control Box Shows what is presently controlling the slide valve and from what source it was initiated. One of the following control modes is shown: - Suction Pressure Mode 1 - Suction Pressure Mode 2

Communications Box: The communications ports status is shown for Comm1, Comm 2, I O Comm. One of the following messages is shown: -Failed -Off -Active

This is the set point box The following items are shown: - Setpoint -this is the current control setpoint maintained by the internal capacity control. - Actual-the current reading of the pressure or temperature that was chosen as the compressor control setpoint.

When the compressor is to be operated by a device other than the unit mounted microprocessor the button next to “Remote” should be pressed. This will allow the remote device to start and stop the compressor as necessary.

Lubrication Status Box Oil Pump: If the unit has an oil pump this line shows the status of the operation mode in blue. The mode will Auto or Manual. The run status of the oil pump will be shown as Off or On. If your unit does not have an oil pump the top line will be blank.
