Halfway through this semester, my English learning journey has been quite an adventure! I've learned so many important things. The grammar part was really confusing at first. I couldn't understand how to use tenses correctly. But I didn't give up! I kept studying and doing exercises, and now I can handle simple grammar problems easily. What's more, the listening practice was a big challenge for me. I often found it hard to catch the key words and understand the whole meaning. However, with more and more practice, I can follow the conversations better and better. I'm really happy about the progress I've made! But I know there's still a long way to go. I need to keep working hard to improve my English skills. How exciting this learning process is!

Oh my goodness! The mid-term exam was really an unforgettable experience for me. Especially the English test, which left a deep impression on me.
The types of questions in the exam were quite diverse. The reading comprehension part was really challenging! There was a passage that I found extremely difficult to understand at first. But I didn't panic. I read it carefully several times, trying to figure out the main idea and key points. I also used the context and my knowledge of grammar to guess the meanings of some unfamiliar words.
When it came to the writing part, I spent some time thinking about the topic and organizing my thoughts. I started with a clear outline and then filled in the details with appropriate words and expressions. How nervous and excited I was during the whole process!
In the end, although I wasn't sure how well I did, I was proud of myself for staying calm and doing my best. I really hope I can get a good score!

During the half-term of this semester, I had some really interesting experiences when studying English with my classmates. It was amazing! We had group discussions where everyone was so passionate and energetic. Everyone shared their ideas and thoughts loudly, as if we were in a big competition. I still remember one time when I was stuck with a difficult grammar problem. But my classmates didn't just leave me alone. They came to my side and explained it to me patiently. How touching it was! And when we finally understood it together, we all shouted happily. "Oh, we did it!" It was such a wonderful moment. These experiences made me realize that learning together is not only helpful but also full of joy and surprises. I really look forward to more such moments in the future.

Oh my goodness! The mid-term exam of the seventh grade in the People's Education Edition was coming soon. I was so nervous and determined to do well. To prepare for it, I made a detailed study plan. Every day, without fail, I spent at least one hour reciting English words. I also did a lot of mock tests to familiarize myself with different types of questions. I reviewed the grammar points carefully and made notes to remember them clearly. Sometimes, I felt really tired, but I told myself to keep going! How could I give up? I had to work hard and believe in myself. I asked my teachers and classmates for help whenever I had problems. Wasn't I trying my best? I really hoped that all my efforts would pay off and I could get excellent grades in the exam. I was so looking forward to it!
