Peter: I’m not familiar with this store. I have no idea where to find salt, flour, tea...or any of the things on this list.
彼得: 我对这家店不是很熟。

Susan: Why don’t you just go ask one of the clerks to help us? Let’s go and ask her.

Peter: No way. We can’t ask her. I feel stupid when I have to speak Chinese with strangers. What if I make a mistake and she doesn’t understand me?

Susan: Peter, you need to be more confident and outgoing. Don’t be scared to speak Chinese. You will never improve if you don’t practice as much as you can. That’s how my Chinese got better.

Peter: We don’t need any help. Look, we need a package of tea, right? Here’s the tea. How’s this one? It looks fine.
