Tutankhamun （图坦卡蒙）was a king in
Egypt （埃及） more than 3, 300 years ago. He
became king at the age of 9・ So people gave him
the nickname （昵称）"the Boy King \ He died
（死）when he was only 19 years old.・[* ■

Tutankhamun is one of the most famous
kings.Why is he so famous?Because there were
so many treasures（宝藏）in his tomb（坟墓）.
There were about3,500treasures.There were
gold boats,jewels（珠宝），toys and even a gold
bed・When he died,people put a gold mask（面
具）over his face・Then they put him into a gold
coffin（棺材）.Today,many of his treasures are in
the Egyptian Museum（埃及博物馆）in Cairo（Jp
罗），Egypt.
