教学步骤:Step1:Warm-up询问学生:What do you usually do on weekend?引导学生回答出一些活动(动词短语)导入下一个环节Gussing game.在动作短语中自然教授本课时的4个新单词:newspaper,use,wash,soup。

Step2:Lead-in通过一张动画图片,引出动名词。

接着展示更多动画图片展示多个动词的现在分词形式。

Step3:Presentation1、顺利过渡到现在分词的构成规则,讲授之后再进行简单操练进行巩固。

一、教学目标
1.语言目标
语言知识:要求学生掌握以下词汇(mall, pool, TV show, cleaning ,reading, shopping, swimming, playing, watching TV, doing homework, eating
dinner, talking on the phone)
语言功能:学会谈论人们正在做什么, 能就发生的事做现场报道语言结构(日常交
际用语):现在进行时和一般疑问句及简单的答语What are you / they doing ? I'm / We're/ They're watching TV/doing homework.
Is he/ she watching TV? Yes, he/ she is. / No, he/ she isn't.
Do you want to go to a movie ? Yes, I do .
When do you want to go? At three o'clock
语言技能:
(1)能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。

(2)能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如:watch TV, read books, play soccer, talk with/ to , be boring, go to the movies, want to do sth.
等。

(3)能在日常生活中恰当理解和运用本单元的话题范围内的单词和习惯用语。

2、情感目标:
培养同学间的友好相处,规范自己的行为,同时能提高他们的观察能力和判断能力,激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情,在接近生活常态的交际中能乐于模仿,敢于开口,积极参与,主动请教。

二.教学重点及难点:
重点:---What’s he doing? ---He’s reading.
难点:现在进行时的用法和动词V-ing 形式的构成在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。

三、教学策略:
(1)充分利用学生已有的知识和生活经验,创设生活化的真实情境,引导学生在运用语言中学习语言,然后在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言(在做中学,学了就用)。

(2)开展多种类型的任务型活动,提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究性学习。

四、教学过程设计
Step1. Warming – up
1 Duty report
The student who is on duty starts to make a duty report
2. Ask and answer
T: Usually, what time do you go to school? S1: ……
T: When does your father watch TV in the evening? S2: ……
T: Do you do your homework in the evening? S3: ……
T: When do you play soccer? S4: ……
T: what time do you usually eat dinner? S5: ……

4. The teacher asks the students to give more verbs phrases and write them down on the blackboard.(show many pictures to help the ss.)
Step 2. Presentation
1 Match the words and the activities.
The teacher shows the pictures in 1a. Then, the teacher asks questions:
----What’s he doing? (Picture 1) ----He’s making a telephone call.
Ask and answer just like that, and finish 1a.(Ss can guess the meaning of doing
homework, watching TV, cleaning, eating dinner and reading.)
The Ss read these V-ing words after the teacher.
2 Teach the Present Progressive.
1).Introduction show more pictures to introduce the Present Progressive tense.
T: What’s she/he doing? Ss: She/He is v-ing.
(Help the ss to answer the questions and show the sentences)
2) Let the Ss to say what the Present Progressive is. (现在进行时表示现在正在进行
或发生的动作, 它的表现形式为Be Verbs + V-ing ---- 这也即为它的结构式.)
3). Tell the difference
Write down the V-ing forms by another lines of go, watch, do, play and eat . Ask the Ss to have a look and find the difference between them. For example: go and going,
watch and watching, do and doing, etc. Then ask the Ss to read them again and do the following exercises (showing by flash card).
