for a stranger — it really can mae your day a little better.

I now what you’re thining pia (比萨饼)? For breafast? But the truth is that you can have last night’s leftovers in the morning if you want to.
I now lots of women who sip breafast (不吃早餐), and they have a ton of different ecuses for doing it . Some say they don’t have time;others thin they’re "saving” calories , and still others just don’t lie breafast food .
But the bottom line is that eating in the morning is very important when you’re trying to lose weight. "Eating just about anything from 300 to 400 calories would be better than nothing at all,”says atherine Brooing.R.D, who developed the super-easy eating plan for this year’s “SELF CHALLENGE”. And even pia can be healthy if it’s loaded with vegetabl es, and you stic to one small piece.
Breafast is one meal I never miss, and the same goes for most weight loss success stories. Research shows that eating breafast eeps you from overeating later in the day. Researchers at the University of Southern California found that breafast sippers have a bigger chance of gaining weight than those who regularly have a morning meal.
So eat something in the morning, anything. I now plenty of friends who end up having no breafast altogether, and have just coffee or orange juice. I say, try heating up last night’s leftovers ---it may sound cray, but if it wors for you, do it! I find if I tell myself, "You can always eat it tomorrow,” I put away the leftovers instead of eating more that night. Try it,and then you may save yourself some pre-bed time calories. And watch your body gain the fat-burning effects.
28.The word “leftovers” in Paragraph 1 probably means__________.
A. things left undone
B. food remaining after a meal

29.What can we infer from the tet?

B. There are some easy ways of cooing a meal.
C. Many people have wrong ideas about breafast.

30.According to the last paragraph, it is important to____________.
A. eat something for breafast
B. eat calorie-controlled food
C. heat up leftovers for breafast
D. put away the leftovers instead of eating more.
31.The tet is written mainly for those_____________.
A. who go to wor early
B. who stay up late
C. who want to lose weight
D. who eat before sleep
D

According to The Huffington Post, an outdoor run in winter, as opposed to one on a treadmill (跑步机), burns more calories because the body is woring hard to regulate (调节)its core temperature. Furthermore, research shows that race times are faster in cold weather than in warmer temperatures—and quicer runs burn more calories. Similarly, cold weather also maes the heart wor harder to distribute blood through the body, maing that vital muscle even stronger.
Outdoor eercise also turns up your energy and rids you of the stress and depression that build up every day. The heat and humidity in the summer can drag you down and tire you faster, but cold weather is refreshing. It adjusts you to your surroundings, maing you feel alive.
Of course, the threat of smog in some built-up areas is a further hurdle to winter eercise. Heart attacs, stroe, lung cancer and asthma are all dangers of running in smog. The combination
of air pollution and eercise increases the potential problems. If you do choose to run outside on smoggy days, tae a path in a par or residential area to avoid car ehaust(尾气), and go early in the morning, before rush hour. But staying inside on smoggy days and waiting for the net clear day to run is best.
32.How does cold weather benefit runners, compared with warm weather?
A.They can run more slowly.
B.They can tae in more calories.
C.Their hearts can function harder.
D.Their body temperature can get lower.
33.How does summer affect runners?

B.It maes runners tired easily.
C.It lessens runners’ stress.
D.It causes heart attac.
34.What are the runners supposed to do on smoggy days?
A.Stop driving cars.
B.Do more eercise.
C.Avoid outdoor eercise.
D.Run late in the morning.
35.What can be the best title of the tet?

The annual campus boo fair aims to provide a platform where students can have a chance to echange and mae use of their boos. It will attract a large number of students from the entire school, who are to sell, purchase and echange their second-hand boos with their peers.
As a regular visitor, I’ve found the fair of great importance to us students. It ehibits boos of different types on diverse topics, motivating us to further develop our reading habits and helps to broaden our horions. Beside, the boos are sold at a much lower price than what the boostores offer, so that most of us can afford to buy some.
Please let me now if you have any suggestions on how to host such a boo fair better.
