篇一:读后感:The Things They Carried 《士兵的重负》

A war story is often a recounting of a horrible personal experience, especially one involving fighting, violence, danger and even bloodshed. However, The Things They Carried is a story that records
the experience of the narrator O'Brien during the Vietnam War, and
the impact on individuals including himself from war. The memories
they got from the war and how these things affected them and their
life after the war.
O'Brien named the book of The Things They Carried, and use the first chapter to describe everything they needed. This is a long list
consist of necessities and near-necessities, such as C-rations, water, identify card; things which decided by their own duty, like
lieutenant's compass and maps(来自: : 士兵的重负, 总结 ), medic's morphine and plasma, tents and explosives use for mountain field; and things carried individuals. "Ted Lavender carried six or seven ounces
of premium dope... Norman Bowker carried a diary. Rat Kiley carried comic books. Kiowa, a devout Baptist, carried an illustrated New Testament”. These things may seem funny to most of us. Think about
it, when an earthquake comes, we carry money, jewelries, real estate certifications and many other precious things. But all they carried were ridiculous.
But those are not at all, Lieutenant Jimmy Cross, he carried the
letters and pictures from a girl named Martha, the girl he loved. "In the late afternoon, after a day's march, he would dig his foxhole, wash his hands under a canteen, unwrap the letters, hold them with
the tips of his fingers, and sp end the last hour of light pretending.” O'Brien describes a plot that looks like the story is out of the environment of the war. Jimmy tries to force him to put his attention on the war that he had burned the letters of Martha, but cannot burn from his brain.
O'Brien gave soldiers various characters through the description of what they carried, but on the battlefield, their characteristic be destroyed, people become the moving items without feeling. People
lost their emotions in the war, keep them look like groups of dead. They became confused with the war they were fighting for, including the narrator O'Brien that he thought they were fighting for a wrong war in wrong place with a wrong time "I was drafted to fight the war
I hated". People hate war, and more about no reason or unknown reason war.

带兵之心得
新兵在初入中队的一段时间内会面临许多不适应,诸如环境、生活、人员、前
途等。作为一名带兵骨干,如果不能把握其中规律,势必会造成新兵诸多压力,不堪重负的就会产生厌训,产生对一日生活制度的抵触情绪,发生逃兵现象甚
至更严重的后果。因此,必须首先帮助他们解疑释惑,稳定其思想情绪,使其
尽快适应基层中队紧张而有序的生活训练。
“九零后”新兵独立,具有完全的个性,我们要在新兵管理上打开思路,创新
方式方法,切实当好新兵的引路人。
一、要引导新兵端正入伍动机,摆正思想,正确对待分工
“铁打的营盘流水的兵”,新兵带着希望,带着亲人的嘱托走进部队。来到部队,每个人都怀着个人的美好愿望,有不少人还设计着自己的蓝图。也有部分
新战士入伍动机不纯,为了学技术、入党、提干和考军校而当兵,把当兵作为
以后择业的跳板,不能正确理解军人的价值。这就要求要广泛开展“立志军营
做贡献”、“争做新时期合格军人”等教育,促使新战士端正入伍动机,改正
不良习气。要让他们认识到部队就是祖国和人民的保护者,军人的天职就是服从,就是奉献,考学,入党、学车等知识一种过程,而不是最终目的。要让他
们树立“当兵就要当能打得赢的兵”的思想,认真学习,刻苦训练。要通过典
型人物、典型事迹使新战士自觉以典型为榜样,养成讲奉献、吃苦耐劳的习惯,树立全心全意为人民服务的思想,端正自己的人生观、世界观、价值观,从而
在思想上实现从地方青年到合格战士的转变。因此,新兵一到部队就要采取多
种形式对他们进行当兵尽义务教育,讲清部队是一个高度集中统一的武装集团,军人以服从命令为天职的道理,使他们认清使命,牢记职责,安心服役。
二、要使其尽快进入较色,适应部队生活,处理好各方面人际关系
新兵下队前对基层部队生活是较为陌生的,突然间严格而紧张的快节奏生活让
他们一时间难以接受,会产生厌烦排斥的思想。因而要给新兵一个学习适应的
阶段,中队管理人员和士官、老兵要以身作则,起好带头作用,并且在日常生活中要予以多帮助,使新兵感到部队大家庭的温暖,尽快适应生活。要不间断底
