句式分析:not everyone构成部分否定,有时也可用“everyone...not”表示。
英语中的all,both,every,everybody,everything,always,whole,entirely等具有总括意义的代词、形容词、和副词与否定词not连用,无论not位置如何,均构成部分否定,表示“并非都”的意思。
[例1]Not everybody/everyone has the goodness to forgive.
并非每个人都有原谅别人的美德。

句式分析:(1)not only...but also...用于连接并列成分,其中also可省略。
(2)not only...but also...连接并列主语时,其谓语动词的数通常与邻近的成分保持一致,即“就近原则”。
(3)not only...but also...连接两个分句时,若not only位于句首,则其所在的句子要用部分倒装,但but also所在的句子不倒装。
