My Sorrow, when she's here with me,
我的忧悒，他和我在这里，
Thinks these dark days of autumn rain
感觉秋雨绵绵，淅淅沥沥，
Are beautiful as days can be;
这连日阴翳，会美妙无比；
She loves the bare, the withered tree;
她喜欢光秃秃－枝叶凋敝，
She walks the sodden pasture lane.
漫步在小径－湿润的草地。

Her pleasure will not let me stay.
她的愉悦让我无以消停。

She talks and I am fain to list:
她絮叨不已，我洗耳恭听：
She's glad the birds are gone away,
群鸟飞走离去，她好高兴，
She's glad her simple worsted grey
她朴素的毛衣由灰变银－
Is silver now with clinging mist.
如今沾满雾气，她好开心。

The desolate, deserted trees,
一株株的枯木，满目萧疏，
The faded earth, the heavy sky,
阴沉的苍穹，失色的泥土，
The beauties she so truly sees,
这些美她那么真切目睹，
She thinks I have no eye for these,
以为我没有眼力去赏顾，
And vexes me for reason why.
她追问为什么－令我恼怒。

Not yesterday I learned to know 十一月光秃秃－那种迷恋，
The love of bare November days 我明白过来并非是昨天，
Before the coming of the snow, －早在那雪花儿飞来之前，
But it were vain to tell her so,
但若如此告知却也枉然，
And they are better for her praise. 暮秋好过些－因为她点赞。
