一、教学内容：第二课时 Part A Listen, read and say
二、教学目标
〔一〕知识目标
1、能听懂、会说、会读单词 a watch, a wallet, a calculator,
a teapot, a skateboard,
a hairdryer，mine, yours, his, hers, ours
2、能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语This one is from Grandpa. Open
it for me, please. Who is it/are they from? It’s/They’re from…(Grandpa and Grandma) You’re welcome.
3、进一领会名词性物主代词的含义和用法。

4、能够正确朗读课文导言及对话，理解。

〔二〕技能目标
围绕礼物〔presents〕这一话题，通过谈论生日礼物→圣诞礼物→Jim一家在圣诞节互赠礼物的场景,将相关的日常交际用语、词汇和语言结构有机地结合起来；使得学生能用英语进行得体地交际，表达对礼物的喜欢。

〔三〕情感目标通过对课文的学习，使学生了解并学会表达感激之情，有感恩的意识。

Step 1 Warming up
(1)Listen to an English song 《Jingle Bells》(歌曲渲染气氛，提升学习的温度，创设学习场)
(2)Free talk:
T:Who is on duty today?
S:I am .
T: Is everyone here today?
S:Yes.
T:Oh,everybody is here .Nobody is absent.
Close the door please.
S :OK.
T :Thanks a lot.
S :Not at all.
T :You can also say you're welcome.
S: You're welcome.
T :There are so many people in our classrom.let's open the door. Open it for me ,please.
S :All right.
T :Thank you.
S :You're welcome.〔对所学内容提前渗透，提供语用环境，让学生感到学英语是很有价值的，生活中随时可用，用英语随时可交流，而不是为了对付考试。

Step 2 Presentation
(1)T: I was very exercited last christmas, too.
Last Christmas , everybody in my family got a present from each other.
Let me show you.
(2)T show : many different color boxes
T: Can you guess, what present is it? What’s in the box?
①blue box→teapot
T: Let’s open it. Oh, it’s a teapot.
T: What do you think of the teapot?
S: It’s very nice.
T: Do your grandparents have any teapots?
S:Yes./No.
T:Tell your parents to buy tea and teapots for your grandparents.
②red box→purse
T: Let’s have a look at the red box. Open it please.
Oh, it’s a beautiful purse.
Is your mum’s purse from your father? How about your father’s wallet.?
S: Yes./No/
T :Don’t forget togive a purse to your mum next women’s day.
③Yellow box→calculator
T :Cat- q -late- doctor-calculator.
T: How about this calculator?
S: I think the calculator is very nice, too.
T:Do you have a calculator?
S :Yes.
T: Is it a present from your family or relaatives?
S :Yes .
T: Do you often use it?
S: Sometimes.
T:You should thank for giving .〔在教学中抓住契机对学生进行爱心教育，这是对学生发展负责，对社会负责。

④a big green box→toy car and VCDs
T: Look at this present. It’s so big.
Perhaps there’re a lot of presents in it.
What’s in the box?
S: There are some VCDs and a toy car.
T :Do you like them? I think many boys have a lot toy cars. Many girls have some VCDs in your home. they are your birthday presents from your family and relatives. Do you think so? S:Yes.
T: Did you say thanks a lot.
(3)T: There are so many presents.
But they aren’t yours. They aren’t mine. They’re Jim’s family’s.
They’re theirs.
(show the photos of Jim’s family) Let's greeting them.
S :Nice to meet you,Grandma/Grandpa/
Let’s guess. Whose is it? Whose are they? Discuss in groups and you can use the sentences:

(5) 问发到礼物的学生
T: What present is it？→Open it for me, please.
在美国接受到礼物要当着送礼物人的面打开，并表示喜欢，别忘了道谢。

这是西方文化与中国文化的差异。

T: You’re welcome.〔教这个句子〕You're welcome means Not at all That's all right. That's OK.

Step 3 Text learning
(1) T: Are you more exercited?
S: Yes, we are.
T: Everybody is more excited now. look ,Jim's family are excited too. Why?
