一、教学内容:Unit 2 The weather is fine all year round.
二、课型:Reading and writing
三、教学目标:
1、能够正确使用下列单词和词组:mile,round, northwest, southeast, the best time to do
sth ,from time to time, compared to ,had better (not)do.
2、能够读懂介绍美国各州天气的短文,扑捉主旨大意;能找出相关的细节信息。

3、能够运用情态动词may,might 以及副词probably表达“可能”。

4、能理解本单元出现的动词不定式的用法。

5、能正确使用连词“because”、“so”和“but”写一篇去你家乡的最好时节并给
出原因
四、教学重难点:
1、能够读懂介绍美国各州天气的短文。

2、能够运用情态动词may,might 以及副词probably表达“可能”。

五、教学准备:
课堂整体运用任务型教学模式以及阅读课“四个阶段”教学模式。

本课指导学生通过阅读获取信息,培养学生阅读技能。

在教学过程中,采用多媒体手段辅助教学,利用各种图片和习题任务贯穿整个教学过程。

因此,本节课需准备:PPT课件、挂图、录音机、课堂练习表格、奖品。
