One day, the hare came across a tortoise, which is a kind of slow-moving turtle. The tortoise was plodding along at his usual snail's pace when the hare started mocking him. "Hey slow poke!" the hare jeered. "You're so slow, I could probably run circles around you while you're stuck going a mile a minute!"
