二教学目标
知识目标:
1、能够听、说、认读_ 个月份的名称并能正确书写它们的缩写形式。
2、能用句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is in 询问他人的生日。
3、能够通过合作使用主要句型完成Group work的活动。
4、能够对_ 个月份进行四季划分,并理解、会唱Let s chant部分的歌谣。
能力目标:
1、能正确书写_个月份的缩写形式。
2、能听懂并询问他人表达生日的对话。
3、能和他人交谈或介绍自己和家人的生日情况。
文化目标:
1. 引导学生了解并记住自己父母的生日,要爱父母和家庭。
2、培养学生小组合作的精神,懂得合作和互爱。
三学情分析
五年级学生有一定的英语基础,大部分学生都有一定的学习方法和技巧。
本单元的主题有关生日,这个话题学生既感兴趣,又贴近生活,在巩固月份单词的基础上学习询问生日的句型,从而了解他人的生日情况。
学生对于本课有关月份的单词在五年级上册的Recycle 2和本册书第二单元的Good to know里已经接触过,但_个月份的准确读法及其缩写方法还是个难点。
四教学重、难点
教学重点是_个月份的英语单词及其所写形式的书写,还有句型When is your birthday? My birthday is in .的灵活运用。
教学难点是_个月份词汇量较大,特别是January, February, April, August
等单词的准确发音。
五课前准备
1、自制课件一份。
2、调查表每人一份。
3、小组评价所需的树干和标有月份叶子若干。
六教学过程:
1. Warm-up
Greetings:
T: I m Miss Jiang. Boys and girls, good morning.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Jiang.
T: Today we have four groups: Group 1, group 2, group 3 and group 4(边介绍边用手指向该组). On your desk there is a tree with no leaves. If you answer my questions correctly, you can get a present---- a leaf for your group. The group that gets the most leaves is the winner. Is that OK? Ss: OK!
T: What s the weather like today?
S1: It s cloudy and cool.
T: What season is it now?
S2: It s spring.
T: Good. What can you do in spring?
S3: I can fly kites and plant trees in spring.
T: You can fly kites and plant trees. A leaf for you.What can you wear in spring?
S4: I can wear my T-shirts.
T: Maybe it s a little cold. What clothes can you wear?
S5: I can wear my coats.
T: Yes, you are right. A leaf for your group. What can you eat in spring? S6: I can eat rice.
T: You eat rice every day perhaps.(虽然不尽如人意,但没追问下去。
) 【设计意图】:开课伊始,为了尽快把学生的思维引导到课堂教学中来,老师利
用free talk的形式,围绕与本课相关的知识让学生回忆激活旧知,为接下来的单词拓展学习打下一定的基础。
2. Presentation
(1). T: Let s enjoy a chant. (让学生欣赏五上复习二里的chant。
)
How many months are there in a year?
S7: _ months.
T: There are _ months in a year. How many seasons are there in a year? S8: 4 seasons.
T: What are they?
Ss: spring, summer, fall and winter.(老师板书四季单词在黑板的右侧。
) T: There are _ months in a year. There are 4 seasons in a year. How many months are there in a season?
S9: Three.
T: Clever. There are three months in a season.
【设计意图】:老师利用几个相似的句型设问,为的是让学生把已学过的四季和已有的常识_个月联系起来,对四季的月份划分有个清晰的理解。
(2). T: Look at this three pictures, what seasons are they?
S10: Spring.
T: Yes, there are three months in spring. Let s see it one by one.
(呈现3月的图片和单词)The first one is March. Let s read(呈现单词farm). Ss: Farm.
T: Yes, and ar pronounce /a:/. Let s read(呈现单词much).
Ss: Much.
T: Yes, here ch pronounce /t /. Let s try.
Ss: March /ma: t /.
T: March(升调). March(降调). (板书单词,带读,让小组齐读。
)
T: What can you do in March?
S_: I can fly kites.
T: A leaf for your group.。
