祝福朋友他的球队获得冠军英语作文My Best Friend's Team is Going to Win the Big Game!
Hey there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. I'm in 5th grade at Oakwood Elementary School. I love playing sports, especially basketball and soccer. But my biggest passion is being a super fan for my best friend Ryan's basketball team - the Oakwood Lions!
Ryan has been my best bud since we were just little guys in kindergarten. We became friends on the very first day of school when he shared his toy cars with me at recess. From that day on, we've been inseparable! We sit together on the bus, we have sleepovers all the time, and we even got to be on the same t-ball team a few years back.
But Ryan's biggest talent is basketball. He is an absolute star on the court! He can dribble like a wizard, pass the ball with his eyes closed, and make baskets from wayyyy downtown. He practices every single day after school on the court behind his house. I'm out there rebounding for him and we pretend we're in the championship game, hitting buzzer beaters for the win.
This year, Ryan finally made it onto the Oakwood Lions travel basketball team. They are the best of the best players from all the
elementary schools in our town. Only the super talented kids get chosen. I was so proud and happy for my buddy when he made the team!
The Lions have been working so hard all season long. Their coaches put them through crazy drills and make them run laps upon laps to get in tip-top shape. Ryan comes over to my house every night exhausted but still managing to smile through his tired eyes. He is living his hoop dreams, that's for sure.
After weeks and weeks of tough practices and tons of tournaments, the Lions emerged as the top team in our area. Can you believe it? The best around! With Ryan's scoring and the other guys' skills, they just couldn't be stopped.
But their work is not over yet. Coming up this weekend is the biggest game of them all - the State Championships! This is a tournament with the top youth teams from all over the state. It's a battle for the best of the best.
The Lions have to win three games in a row to take home the giant trophy and championship rings. I just know in my basketball-loving heart that these are the moments Ryan has been waiting for his whole life. He and the fellas are going to come out firing on all cylinders, playing tougher defense than they ever have before.
When my best friend steps out onto that court, I'll be sitting front row in the stands, cheering as loud as humanly possible. My mom already got me new pom-poms and a lion mask to wear during the games. Ryan's parents will be decked out in their lucky Lions shirts too. We're all one big pride that believes in our boys 100%.
I can picture it now... the final seconds are ticking off the clock in the thrilling championship game. The score is close and the pressure is on. Ryan gets the ball in his hands and drives hard to the basket. He pulls up for a jumper and SWISH! The ball rips through the net as the final buzzer sounds. The Oakwood Lions are champions
Ryan gets mobbed by his teammates as the crowd goes wild. He looks up into the stands with the biggest smile on his face as his eyes meet mine. We're both jumping up and down, cheering and cheering. All those early morning shooting drills and hours of hard work paid off. The dream has come true!
After the big celebration, I just know Ryan will come stay at my house that night. We'll watch the championship highlights over and over again. He'll let me try on his gigantic trophy ring for a size. Maybe they'll even engrave my name on it for being such an awesome best friend and number one supporter!
The next morning, we'll go shoot some hoops together in his driveway, pretending we're at the big tournament hitting the game-winners over and over again. Our future pro basketball dreams will feel that much closer to reality.
I have no doubts at all that the Oakwood Lions are raising that State Championship banner. My best friend Ryan is too talented, too driven, and too passionate about the game to let this opportunity slip away. That trophy has his name - and the whole team's names - written all over it!
So get ready to howl, Lions fans! Our dream season is about to have a roaring, championsip finish. Ryan and the guys are about to make us all proud by reaching the top of the mountain. When they hoist that first place trophy, I'll be the loudest one in the crowd shouting:
"THAT'S MY BEST FRIEND OUT THERE! WOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOO LIONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNS"。
