1. more than (1) 不止一个，很多，后接单数名词时，谓语动词用单数 形式。 More than one student wants to watch movies. (2) 后跟名词时，表示“不只是，不仅仅” Mr Black is more than a teacher, he is also our friend. (3) 与数词连用，表示“多于，大于，超过” There are more than 50 students in our classroom. (4) 后跟形容词、分词和动词时，表示“非常”，相当于 very或much。 I am more than glad to help you with your study. (5) more …than…与其说…倒不如说…（肯定前者） He was more sorry than angry at what had happened.
4.辨析：voyage/ journey/ trip/ tour/ travel voyage多指旅海，也可以指空中旅行，“航海， 航空，航行”等，只作名词。 journey通常指到某一目的地的旅行，距离较远， 多指陆地，只作名词。 trip指短途旅行，只作名词。 tour指周游，往往只绕行后回到原出发点，可作 动词和名词。 travel泛指旅行，尤指长途旅行，可作动词和名 词。其复数形式意思为“旅游笔记，游记”。
