上海市中考英语作文
I woke up this morning feeling excited and nervous at the same time. Today is the day of the Shanghai Middle School Entrance Exam, also known as the Zhongkao. It's a big deal for all the students in Shanghai, as it determines which high school we can attend.
As I walked into the exam room, I couldn't help but
feel a surge of adrenaline. The room was filled with the sound of pencils scratching on paper and the occasional cough or sniffle. I took my seat and tried to calm my racing heart.
The first section of the exam was the English test.
I've always been pretty confident in my English skills, so I tackled the reading and writing sections with ease. However, the listening section was a bit challenging, as the audio recordings were quite fast-paced.
After the English test, we had a short break before
moving on to the math and science exams. I used the break
to grab a quick snack and chat with some friends, trying to distract myself from the pressure of the exams.
Finally, the exams were over, and I felt a mix of
relief and exhaustion. I couldn't wait to go home and relax, but at the same time, I was anxious to find out how I had performed.
Now, as I sit at home waiting for the results to be announced, I can't help but reflect on the whole experience. The exam was tough, but I'm proud of myself for getting through it. No matter what the results may be, I know that
I gave it my all, and that's all that matters.。
