2. Master the new words and know the Simple Present Tense

教学过程设计
Step 1. Step 1 Greetings
Get a student to e to the black board to give a daily report, then the teacher ask and answer questions according to the passage.
Step 2 Presentation
1. Help students have a revision about sports by pictures and videos from London Ol ympic. Then find out the answers to the question “What sports can you see?”
2. Ask one student“Do you like sports? Do you like watching matches? What sports do you like? Who is your favorite player?”Then get them to ask and answer in pairs whiling looking at the pictures.
Teach the new word: player, member, hope, e true….
For example: 1) Who is he? (He is SunYang )
What is he? (He is a swimming player.)
Do you know anything about him?
( He gets a gold medal in men swimming petition)
2) Do you know him?
We all know him, he is a famous football player. He is Beckham. He often plays football
in matches.

Step 3 Reading
(Let’s get to know about Simon’s favorite football player)
1. Get students to listen to the recording first. Then find out the answer to the question : Who is his favorite football star?
2. Encourage them to listen again, and answer more questions:
1). Where does Li Hua e from?
2). What does he look like?
3). What is his dream?
4). What does Li Hua do in his free time?
5) What club is he in?
3. Get the students to read after the tape and try to imitate the stone.
Step 4. Exercise
1.Read the text again, and help Millie plete the information card about Li Hua.

Get them to pay attention to the new words:

Practice: Having a talk in pairs

Get students to read the text quickly, then fill in blanks about the information of LiHua.
