地铁英文作文
I love taking the subway. It's always so crowded, but I don't mind. I like being surrounded by people, even if
we're all just avoiding eye contact and pretending we're alone. It's like a little community of strangers, all headed in different directions but sharing the same space
for a few minutes.
The best part about the subway is the people-watching. There are so many different kinds of people, all with their own stories and lives. I like to make up little stories about them in my head, like the woman with the red coat
who's on her way to a job interview, or the man with the headphones who's listening to his favorite song to pump himself up for a date.
Of course, there are also the not-so-great parts of taking the subway. Like the smell. It's not always pleasant, especially in the summer when it gets really hot and stuffy. And don't even get me started on the delays. It seems like
there's always some kind of signal problem or track maintenance causing delays. But hey, that's just part of the experience, right?
One thing I've learned from taking the subway is that you have to be prepared for anything. You never know when the train is going to suddenly stop in the middle of a tunnel, or when you're going to get stuck in a car with a loud talker or a crying baby. It's all part of the adventure.
Despite the crowds, the smells, and the occasional delays, I wouldn't trade the subway for anything. It's a unique experience that you just can't get anywhere else. Plus, it's a great way to get around the city without having to deal with traffic or parking. So, I'll take the subway any day.。
