1. in front of 意为"在……前面；在……面前"，表示在某一空间范围外部的前面，或者在某人的面前，近义词是before，反义词是behind。

You can park your car in front of the building.
你可以把车停到楼的前面。

There are many big trees in front of the old house.
在这所老房子前有很多大树。

Don't be shy to speak in front of the class.
在全班同学面前讲话不要害羞。

2. in the front of 意为"在……前部"，表示在空间范围内的前部，反义词组是at the back of。

1. advise + doing 表示"建议做某事"。

advise 及物动词，意为"建议"，advice 是它的名词变化形式。

advise 后不接动词不定式。

I advised looking for another way to solve the matter.

The head teacher advises putting off the sports meeting because of the bad weather.
由于糟糕的天气，校长建议推迟运动会。

He advised leaving early.
他建议早点动身。

2. advise sb. (not) to do sth. 表示"建议某人（不）做某事"。

My English teacher advises me to join an English club.
英语老师建议我加入英语俱乐部。
