Ask the ss to look at the pictures and work in pairs

Explain :how表示手段方法，意思是“如何，怎样；用什么样的方
法 (手段)
”“by + 动名词”常常表示手段、方式或方法，可以用来回答
“how”引导的特殊疑问句。

Step 3 . Work on 1a
Teacher shows the picture on Page 1 by playing PPT.
