Hello，everyone！I have the great honor to stand here to give you a presentation. Today，my topic of presentation is about love.
In the dictionary，love means‘A strong feeling of affection for somebody that you are sexually attracted to’. However，the best explanation I have seen before is that：‘L’stands for listening. Love is to give what you have unconditionally, listening to your partner without prejudice and helping him or her. ‘O’stands for obligate. Love needs obligation，which means paying out more and irrigating the young plant of love.‘V’stands for valued. Love is to show your respect，to express affection，to encourage pure-heartedly and to praise sincerely.‘E’stands for excuse. Love is to be kind，to forgive your partner’s faults and mistakes and to accept him or her entirely. An old couple were married for over half a century, and played their own special game from the time they had met each other. The goal of their game was to write the word "shmily" in a surprise place for the other to find. They took turns leaving the word "shmily" around the house, and as soon as one of them discovered it, it was their turn to hide it once more. This mysterious word was as much a part of their house as the furniture. However，one day，the old woman had breast cancer. She was gone. Grandpa stepped up to my grandmother's casket and, taking a shaky breath, he began to sing to her. Through his tears and grief, the song came, a deep and throaty
lullaby. The song is“See how much I love you”.
When it comes to love，we have to talk about friends. Friend is someone who changes your life just by being part of it，who makes you believe that it is really good in the world. When you get into trouble，he will give you a hand. When you gain an achievement，he will come to congratulate you and give you a hug. When you lose your way，he will guide you to march on. When you are down，he will lift you up in spirits. Although，some friendly relationships can be kept on argument and discussion，but it is usual for close friends to have similar ideas and beliefs，to have attitudes and interests in common. So，always remember the words from a true friend“I will be there for you.” Y our forever friends will hold your hand and tell you that everything is going to be OK.
Love can include many categories：the spiritual love，love of food，love of money，love of learning，love of power，love of reputation and so on. But the best kind of love is parents’ love. When you were still a kid, they spent a lot of time on teaching you how to walk by yourself , how to say something, how to eat by spoon and chopsticks.When you were young, your parents gave you the best love. So, you know, one day they will be very old. When their memory become worse and worse, when they repeat some old stories frequently and make you feel boring, please do not blame on
them. When they begin to forget about how to look after themselves, when they become more and more feeble, please do not hurry them. Just you are growing up, while they are aging. If someday they are so weak that they can hardly stand or walk, please give them your hands and hold their hands, walk with them slowly. Y ou may love them, just as what they used to do.
Our life cannot always be full of happiness，but it can always be full of love. W enchuan earthquake is memorable to me. Almost within one minute，the city completely became in ruins.I feel so upset when I see those people displaced. They lost their relatives and home，but they don’t lose anything. When the disaster occurred，Soldiers, doctors, policemen and many volunteers came to W enchuan by the first time. They tried their best to rescue every survivors, give them love and encourage them to continue to live well. People from all over China and the world constantly sent relief supplies to the disaster areas. The disaster was ruthless，while people were not. They are all strangers，however，in order to rescue the refugees，some person even lost their lives. It is love that makes the world go around.。
