2014重庆卷英语作文
It was a hot summer day in Chongqing. The sun was
shining brightly in the sky, making everything feel like it was on fire. People were sweating profusely as they walked down the streets, trying to find some shade to escape the scorching heat.
I could hear the sound of cars honking and people
talking loudly as I made my way through the crowded streets. The smell of street food filled the air, making my stomach growl with hunger. I couldn't help but stop at a food stall to try some of the local delicacies.
As I sat down to eat, I watched the hustle and bustle
of the city around me. People were rushing to and fro,
going about their daily lives without a care in the world.
I couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for their resilience in the face of such extreme weather.
After finishing my meal, I decided to take a walk along
the Yangtze River. The cool breeze coming off the water was a welcome relief from the heat of the city. I watched as boats sailed by, their colorful sails billowing in the wind.
As the sun began to set, I made my way back to my hotel. The city lights were starting to come on, casting a warm glow over the streets. I couldn't help but feel grateful
for the opportunity to experience such a vibrant and dynamic city like Chongqing.
As I lay in bed that night, I couldn't help but think about all the sights and sounds of the day. Despite the
heat and the chaos, there was something truly special about Chongqing that had captured my heart. I knew that I would always look back on this day with fond memories.。
