Unit 2 Last weekend教学设计
一.Teaching objectives
After this lesson,students should be able to
(1)understand the song, read the lyrics and sing it out
(2)Have a daily talk wit friends using“what did you do?”
二.Analysis of the students
StudentsarefromGradesix,theyhavemasteredbasicrulesofthepasttenseandsomer egular or irregular past forms.But it takes time to help students to use them correctly in daily life.So teacher will offer students lots of opportunities to talk and share with others.
三.Analysis of the content
The topic of this lesson is the songlast weekend,it’s not difficult for past tense beginners. Butteacher intents to reorganize the learning materials and improve the students’singing intention.

Sing the song fluently
五.Teaching procedures:
Step 1: Warming up
1.Sing a song“Days of the week”
2.Free talk
T: What day is it today?
What do we have on Thursdays?
What do you often do on the weekend ?
Step2: Presentation
1.Show a calendar, learn the title“Last weekend”
(Board: Last weekend)
2.Enjoy the video of the song
3.Look and say: look at the pictures, then answer“What did you do last weekend?”
Lead to the phrases and sentences“I went to the zoo/saw a film/played ping-pong”4.Sing the first part of the song, sing in groups or other ways.
5.Watch the pictures and learn the sentences“I watched TV/stayed at home and read a book”
6.Sing the second part of the song.
7.Practice the song in different groups
8.Enjoy the song again and try to sing the whole song.
Step 3: Practice
1.Sing the song in groups ,and make a PK.
2.According to the rhythm , compose a new song
Step4: Homework
Sing the song to your family and friends。
