图书馆英语规章制度
Introduction:
Welcome to our library! In order to maintain a peaceful and conducive environment for reading and studying, we have established the following rules and regulations for the use of our facilities. We ask that all patrons abide by these rules to ensure a pleasant experience for the entire community.
Rules and Regulations:
1. Opening Hours:
- The library is open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday to Friday, and from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekends.
- The library is closed on public holidays.
2. Registration:
- All patrons must register at the front desk with a valid ID before using the library.
- Library cards are non-transferable and must be presented upon entry.
3. Conduct:
- Please maintain a quiet atmosphere in the library at all times.
- No eating or drinking is allowed inside the library.
- Cell phone use is prohibited in designated quiet zones.
4. Library Materials:
- Books and other materials must be handled with care and returned to their proper place after use.
- Do not remove library materials from the premises without checking them out first.
5. Borrowing Guidelines:
- Patrons may borrow up to five items at a time for a period of two weeks.
- Renewals may be made in person or by phone, as long as the item is not on hold for another patron.
6. Overdue Fees:
- Overdue fines of $0.25 per day will be charged for each item returned past its due date.
- Patrons with overdue materials will be blocked from borrowing additional items until all fines are paid.
7. Computer Use:
- Internet-access computers are available for one-hour sessions on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please do not download or view inappropriate content on library computers.
8. Printing and Copying:
- Printing and copying services are available for a fee of $0.10 per page.
- Please be mindful of others waiting to use the photocopier and limit your copies to no more than 20 at a time.
9. Lost or Damaged Materials:
- Patrons are responsible for the full replacement cost of any lost or damaged library materials.
- Please report any damage or loss to library staff immediately.
10. Children’s Section:
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult while in the library.
- Parents are responsible for their children’s behavior and must ensure they do not disturb other patrons.
11. Group Study Rooms:
- Study rooms are available for group use on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please limit your stay in a study room to two hours to accommodate other patrons.
12. Disruptive Behavior:
- Any disruptive behavior, including loud talking, fighting, or harassment, will not be tolerated.
- Patrons who engage in disruptive behavior may be asked to leave the library. Conclusion:
